💜 Miss you all!

in all fairness some alt-right group has claimed ownership of the staged baby-eating incident. But the conspiracy theorist in me is prone to believing that someone staged the staged incident. Wait. I just don't know anymore...

Where is the WTF emoji when you need one?

I feel the need to point out that you are making my point exactly. This industry in particular (and others too of course, but I don't care about any other industry) has done a lot of head-burying in the sand, and the only one losing here is them. Because the millennial generation has earned the label of lazy, entitled, safe-space seekers, some in the industry have stubbornly decided they will not "placate" this generation. But there are only two choices here: get on board with this generation, or don't. The tech industry is happy to. And that is why oil will get the leftovers when it comes to manpower and investment dollars. It's not about right, wrong, good, bad. It's just a fact. You can't dismiss an entire generation from the workforce, despite their perceived faults. Today you might not need them like you will 5-10 years from now; lots of 55+ people are still working (39% of this generation are still working). That won't be the case for too much longer. So put on your muck boots and break out those safe spaces, flex schedules, and food trucks, or go broke. You don't have to like it. And I guess you don't have to buy it . It was a free article. R2020

What a coincidence! I SPEAK English! Not really "back" so to speak. Just lurking.

I'll be the only ones running for office around these here parts, thank you very much. R2020

Looks like it's not just quoted. Looks like the whole OP article.

Anecdotal, but I don't change my driving habits based on the price of gasoline. It is what it is. I have to go from point A to point B no matter what the price is. I suspect that when a consumer decides to reduce gasoline consumption, it is a change for good (selling auto and taking public transportation, buying EV, buying @Jan van Eck's electric bike, etc).

Only apparently that educational rot only affects one party. Remarkable!

Excellent idea! Signing off now to take a dip in the pool, in the spirit of saving the planet from utter ruin. Heretofore I shall be available only 10 hours a week. (no cheering)

Yay we have a new rolling eye vote option!! Yay @CMOP!!

My personal anecdotal research (can I say that?) is that a no-beef diet causes intrafamily mass hysteria, rioting, and severe clinical depression.

I wish instead of the heart, green up vote, red down vote, and trophy options that there was an eye roll option. @CMOPcan we make that happen?
