Op-Ed: Democrats want to tax and spend on Green New Deal policies in an inflationary recession

Few ideas are more economically disastrous than debt spending in an inflationary environment and raising taxes during a recession. And Democrats are planning on doing just that.

Working towards no trade with Russia and China is a great long term goal. Cull the herd so to say.

You missed on that guess. O’l sleepy to quick for you? 300 billion on green stuff? The friend of Russia couldn’t get 20 million stole from the military to build a wall that the Mexicans were going to build. MAGA Kinda like dropping inflation by borrowing money. They got them slogans eh?

The green shift is expensive. If you do it, and Chinese don't, you shoot your competitiveness in the foot. Ditto for Russia, believe it or not, which makes about as much energy and steel as US, and more aluminum, for example. Russian domestically produced cars already reverted to Euro II emissions standard from Euro VI, for example. Much cheaper to achieve. I am no MAGA fan. I'd rather prefer America be gone from the world stage. Glad to see you getting there without my help. No American administration after Roosevelt was really a friend of Russia's. Trump was simply trolling, because Russia happens to be like the only country he's got no dodgy relationship with.

The Chinese have been spending double on green than the US. Learn to read charts. See the war? You don’t see the cost? See the storms? you don’t see the cost? See the fragility and cooperation it takes so millions don’t starve? Water and resource depletion are real along with war and Mother Nature but y’all Russians are a bit thick to see the world. It takes smooth cooperation to keep between the ditches, so to speak. Putin a bit slow for a world view.

Russia got food, water and other resources up the wazoo. Any kind of depletion kinda unobvious from there. For Chinese, is green tech just a few additional widgets to export. You are the ones who import them from China.

Part II,

As trade isolates because of cost, tec and efficiency products will get done cheaper at home. The tricky part is more the supply chains for smart developed countries. Do you think the US would make a huge deal out of Taiwan if it didn’t have the state of the art chips? You may not need them but our world leading companies do. It won’t be long before robots will be making the Apple phone for example. A plant in every large market.

I believe in you making efficient domestic products when I see them, OK? Everybody but the Koreans needs TSMC for now. Russians and Chinese are undergoing rather painful emergency transition to SMIC now. Nobody really needs the latest iPhone, though. You are naive. Robots are significantly more expensive labor than Chinese child prisoner laborers. This is expected to remain so for the foreseeable time.  Lawyers, graphic designers and other office plankton are much easier to automate.

Seen a car factory compared to 20 years ago? Seen the Musk giga press? You have no clue what efficiency is.
