Wyoming or Quebec? What's the Next Big Blockchain Venue?

Wyoming is eyeing a major prestige boost, it hopes, by becoming a sort of Silicon Valley for Blockchain in the US, but tons of money and ops also pouring into Quebec ... which is the real up-and-coming venue?

Right, but Wyoming's isn't 'real'. It's like 'offshore' blockchain ... I think these are two venues that can't really be compared. Wyoming's trying to get people to register their businesses there, but it's not like it's going to create jobs or anything. Quebec is luring in crypto operators physically.

offshore blockchain ... that's doubly existential

Quebec is definitely the big physical venue here. Plentiful and cheap renewable electricity; plus cold weather than is a natural coolant for these massively overheating machines. Both 'traditional' data centers love Quebec, and now crypto miners ...

I'm going with Quebec - cheap electricity AND poutine? Easy sell.
