New Challenge: Airbus Wants Brexit Clarity As It Faces Higher Spending

Europe’s largest aerospace company, Airbus, is strongly committed to its British factories as long as they can be run with the same efficiency as before. Airbus has a 14.000.employees in UK. This company is facing immediate decisions on whether to increase spending on parts in order to build up an extra buffer stock to cope with potential disruption when Britain leaves the European Union on March 29, 2019.

Airbus Industry and joint ventures with many European countries including UK has worked fine before Brexit, and I think it will continue after Brexit.

It’s a major upheaval moving aerospace production. Perhaps, they just want guarantee from government for them and their employees while they quietly plan future. Nothing strange in that.
