Trial against Eni, Shell Begins

The trial against Shell and Eni, along with several executives from the two supermajors has started. They are accused of bribery in a Nigeria oilfield purchase deal. The trial could be the biggest in history and has already sparked outrage since Claudio Descalzi, Eni's incumbent CEO, is among those charged but has not stepped down. Interesting to watch and certainly would affect the stocks of the two companies.
