Microsoft Announces First Renewable Energy Deal In India

Microsoft has announced the completion of its first renewable energy deal with the Karnataka state in  India. This agreement will provide Microsoft purchase 3 megawatts of solar-powered electricity from Atria Power to help power its new office building in Bangalore. This will meet 80 percent of the projected electricity needs at the new facility. This is Microsoft’s first solar energy agreement in India.

Go ahead. Microsoft should be adding to local economy by building their own solar factories and farms.

Agree, but perhaps human beings "are busy" in something more "important" - killing each other. Iraq,Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, Yemen ..... This world would be more happiest with people like BG on top.
