Washington doctor removed from his post, over covid

Recommended Posts

https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/health/emergency-physicians-group-calls-on-state-attorney-general-to-investigate-bellingham-doctors-firing/

In Washington state, a doctor is REMOVED for protesting his working conditions.

Proving the USA local officials are no better than the local officials in China. In fact, the removal is a worse action, for the doctor was well within his rights to demand better safety conditions from his employer, thus the action is inexcusable.

Of course, for the racists and haters on this site, such facts will be twisted into anti-USA propaganda.

Imagine a world where you are free to speak your mind? A world where you do not have to live in fear of being taken away in a black van, with no recourse to the infinite power of the state?

That world is what western civilization aspires to. It does not always succeed, but here, we understand these as the bedrock principles of civilization.

Obviously, you have not experienced a random search when entering the USA. A black van and more awaits you. Or helicopter gunships and crews slaughtering innocents at will. And very much more.  Your references to twitter demonstrate how devoid are westerners now: twitter opinions are now received as facts.

Once again, your level of proof required, to prove anything it seems, is basement level.

Very similar to what happened to me the last time I went to the US, you can out smart the helicopters by wearing foil which masks your body temperature from their FLIR cameras.

This is me at the George Bush International Airport Houston in 2011

Cops got off free.

Military was used which is against -the essence- of the law as well.

Here's the thing guys

If you send an email about health and saftey to your boss/supervisor etc it's probably a really bad idea to post in on Facebook especially if you don't have privacy settings and/or 10,000 'friends'. In fact don't post anything on facebook that could cause you problems of any kind...it amazes me that in 2020 anyone needs to be told this.

Maybe people should be forced to take an internet licence before going out there into the 'world wide web', indeed on passing your test you could be restricted to a 56k modem for the first year and then graduate to actual broadband once you learn how to use it properly.

I would give my right arm to be able to go back in time 20 years when it was just a bunch of nerds talking about D&D and playing crappy video games.

I Had a ZX-81 with 16K Ram pack (Ram Pack was half the price of the computer)

Fax was the best thing around and if you had one you were certainly a real company, TELEX you were just a dinosaur , Internet hah Royal Mail was the way of the day.

http://oldcomputers.net/zx81.html

Commonly used as a door stop after saying that Sir Clive Sinclair produced the first pocket calculator and the UKs first personal "Computer"

Man you were Hi-Tech - I dreamed of a Commodore 64, my better off friends (poor me) had one. I had to deal with pixels one cm square and playing flight simulator only - Absolute shite but was the thing to have for a few months till the Spectrum came out- ZX in Door Stop Mode.

I was going to offer my condolences but thought better of it 😂

Yeh I was in to flight simulators as well, actully learned to fly in real life in the end.

I think the ZX-81 had more games though, one of my friends brother used to stay off school learning to program and ended up in the games industry so he did pretty well out of it.

Do you still remember waiting for 20 minutes to load a game only to end up with SYNTAX ERROR to be displayed on the screen? 😂 Great memories.

Haha SYNTAX ERROR every line I wrote, I wish I had stayed with it as I would have probably been a millionaire by now or at least progressed to Frogger 🤣

I don't know how many times I had to return the clip in RAM pack 16K ( Monster) for a replacement, I never progressed passed the ZX81 it jaded me for life. Never really got into Atari etc, but I did partake to Game Boy dual play Golf by cable, such technology just blew my mind how me and my bro could play golf together.

Then many years later after struggling with MS DOS to write my reports I started to get more savvy, then I was allowed to use the internet for 15 minutes a day as the Toolpusher on the rig was the only one to have a connection, he got tired of that and we got a common room system and then we learned how to access porn, and my computer literacy has been improving every day since.

Oh yeh when online gaming became a thing it was like leaping into the future, I still have friends from flight sims that we played together in 2001, never met but we are all very close friends.

We had the same on the rigs in the North Sea, backing up to tape, having to send reports from the Geo or Co-man's office because we weren't allowed the internet even though we were on the network. Eventually they got p**sed off with us when had techical problems and had to go back and forth sending mails so got our very own password, that was like being given the keys to a Porsche especially considering we were only allowed 10 minutes per week to phone home using the sat connection lol

Happy memories

Yeh that was my first home build, I recon it cost close to the same number of pounds as my current rig which is a beast, they were so expensive back then. Just trying to think of what the top of the line graphics cards were called, Voodo maybe?

Before that I had my dad's 286 laptop with an orange screen 😂 which was crazy looking back on it.

I’m a Luddite...never touched this crap until it was either part of my job or it made my job easier!

The first time I ever sent an email was my first night aboard the semi Omega, off the coast of Angola, in 1995, when as Night Company Man I had to send the morning report to Ranger in Guildford.

It took me all damn night to figure out how to do it!
