Canada Bent On Ruining Its Oil Industry

Looky here, now. I realize that pipelines are no longer en vogue. And we all want a greener tomorrow. But extra rail shipments are not greener--they're just not in environmental crosshairs at present. And not pumping the oil is also not realistic. Canada's failure to approve and build pipelines will be their undoing. Incompetence!

But it is so exciting to march against dirty old pipelines and threaten lawsuits even if someone wants to turn those old and dirty pipelines into new, safer pipelines! What do you know about excitement, I wonder. Heh!

Who likes to produce oil at a $25 discount from WTI... ahh I guess you don't have a choice if you have made billions in upstream investments and need to present some kind of cash flow to your shareholders.

Winter Climate difficulties and... socialist, restrictive govt.  The usual.  Market will teach them.... uh, no it won't.

The Libs in Canada are infected with the Virtuousness Virus.  It's worse than BSE (mad cow disease).  InevitableReality may teach them, but prolly not. No cure fer Stoopid.

The Keystone XL pipeline was first cancelled by Obama. Now Nebraska is holding up approval of the pipeline. Keystone XL was approved in Canada a long time ago. Also the Line 3 pipeline has also been approved in Canada but is currently being delayed by the state of Minnesota. Trans Mountain pipeline is approved and will be built. I'm actually surprised at how small the protests are in Burnaby. A few arrests with a couple of green politicians getting arrested as well but nothing major. The large organizers of these protests 350.org and greenpeace are largely funded by american money. Also it would be nice if the governor of Washington Jay Inslee kept his mouth shut about being against Trans Mountain seeing how his state receives oil from the pipeline and also has plenty of tanker traffic off the coast importing oil from Alaska. When you look at the facts it's the USA holding up the pipelines.
