NBR closed up 1.8 percent on Friday, March 23, 2018, on approximately normal volume. The stock rose above its 50 day moving average, improving its intermediate-term outlook by crossing above that important trendline.

Morgan Stanley reiterated its call for US$75 Brent in the third quarter, noting that much of the global inventory cushion is gone, leaving oil markets more susceptible to geopolitical risk.

Net longs rose again this week, indicating much bullishness among traders. Oil prices are now on the verge of breaking out to multi-year highs, with Brent finally managing to climb above US$70 a barrel.

Looks ok rite now. If you read the Oppenheimer report, a lot of funds taking positions here. I feel like were in good company. This is a 1-3 year hold for me. But I will look for opportunities to trade it on the way up.

yeah, I was just letting the trade war panic market get to me. All is well. I think I'll hold this one, too, for a while.

Nabors Industries reported an increased rig fleet in U.S. land drilling for 2017 with increasing margins, and expects the rig market to continue to improve in the coming quarters. Nabors bought last year Norway-based Robotic Drilling Systems AS, a provider of automated tubular and tool handling equipment.

“The robotics and rotary steerable operations are still in the product development stages but are expected to see improving results in 2018 as they enter the commercialization phase of their principal products,” Nabors said at the end of February.
