Epidemiologist Dusek - What we don't know about COVID 19

This is an excerpt from his report for Czech government from 21th April:

"... specifically, we don't know:

• how large virus load is out there
• the precise incubation period of the virus
• the ratio between positivity (being infected) and contagiousness (being able to infect others)
• the ratio of subclinical cases (those who do not have symptoms) - most models indicate it's very low, approx. 10%"

Moreover, we still don't understand all the ways the virus attacks human body - there are documented cases of thrombosis, stroke, heart attacks caused by it, of unexplained clotting of bodily fluids in organs, of young and healthy people suddenly dropping dead. 

That implies that all those self-confident doctors from other fields of specializations (what does a surgeon know about virology?), that authoritatively throw around predictions about infection rates, deaths, etc. is just BS, mostly paid by somebody with ulterior interests. 

Mr. Dusek warns very vocally against irresponsible "free, hands off" approach, and the horrific scenarios that unveiled in the USA and Britain seem to support his conclusions.

What can be understood is that this is one nasty infection.  Seriously nasty. So, don't be sanguine about it.

Yup, nightly stacking of the bodies into refrigerated trucks parked behind the hospitals is rather a "horrific scenario."  Corpse stacking has not been around in the USA since the Civil War.  Thunk, thunk, thunk go the corpses. Kinda unpleasant, if you ask me.   then, off to the mass burial pits over on Riker's Island.  Just lovely.
