Tesla to Recall Almost 9,000 Vehicles in China

The Chinese government's quality watchdog said that Tesla will recall a total of 8,898 Model S cars that have been in the country since June 28. The announcement adds specifics to the recall previously announced by Tesla in March, when it said some 123,000 Model S vehicles globally contained faulty bolts that could corrode after contact with road salt.

Oh, just a little power steering problem. I guess it doesn't cause the car to become un-steerable, just makes the wheel hard to turn. Tesla stock down last time I checked.

And in China, no less. Will there ever be an end to Tesla's China problems?

The car business does have a lot of pitfalls .... and Tesla has found them all.

Speaking about recalls - Ford is recalling about 350,000 trucks and SUVs in the U.S., Canada and Mexico because they might be in a different gear than the one shown on the shift indicator.
