There is absolutely no way that I will consent to willing receive either a virus from Bill Gates, or a vaccine from Bill Gates.

Bill Gates created FUNDVAC, a so-called vaccine against religious fundamentalists, and proposed secretly spreading it to large populations via respiratory viruses such as the flu.

The point economists keep making over and over is that you need to convince consumers the environment is safe. Trump threw his credibility in the trash can almost immediately. I actually think you are correct about this. So why follow it up with authoritarian edicts and riot police? Why not just make recommendations, pass along 'best practices to date' and let people choose for themselves?

It's sad that the lack of education particularly in America has reached such an extent that there are so many totally confused people protesting against measures that are in place to protect them. There were a few similar lunatics in Europe, but in very marginal numbers - 60 or so Germans, and isolated groups in other states as well. These uninformed masses are then abused by the cynical Trump's effort to restart economics ASAP regardless of the cost in human lives - an abhorrent, cynical calculus that should not be seen in nations calling themselves civilized.
