Payback Time: Republican Senators turn the tables on Democrats. The difference is the Republican investigations are legit.

Some people really want US to achieve its transformation into an authoritarian regime, where people are put in jail for political motives.

That is the definition used by sufferers of the liberal version of TDS whereby they are driven by a  feeling of an existential threat from his presidency and person. Interpret anything Trump does or says as automatically making it evil or wrong regardless of the content. Perhaps it is because if he had his way, that would be then end of a lucrative career in running other people's business and lives as you advance through the regulatory, academic, political, extortion payoff in a corporate regulatory affairs department, advocacy group, lobbyist or policy consultant and back to serving yourself at the public's expense. But I think it is that he has threatened you with removal of the claimed moral sheepskin you wear and reveal that the left are just communist wolves hungry for sheeple.

Wow, he admits the Obama investigation is for political gain.

Trump doesn't care about justice, he just wants to silence an opponent's supporter who has a large fan base.

Trump is not the one who is investigating the Biden’s. Tom was merely stating that it is difficult to campaign from prison...

I'm a leftist because I think your "Obama turned the FBI into the KGB" meme is crackpot. 🤣

That is only part of the information. There is much more. You should know that, but are in deep denial.

So even though I didn't mention any of these things you brought them up? But here's a longer list of "things I couldn't give two shits about if I had a bag full of shits and owned a large and productive shits factory":

1. If Trump makes money from his political position. All politicians do, I don't care and neither should anyone else. I hope he makes billions.
2. If Trump manually grasps attractive female pudenda.
3. If Trump dates, bones, porks, pistons, or jackhammers adult film starlets.
3. If Trump tells a joke, or says anything off the cuff that is even verifiably false.
4. If Trump talks to or makes deals with Saudis, Jews, Chinese, Russians or Martians.
5. If Trump nepotistically gives cabinet positions to his hawt daughters or the respectably lovely FLOTUS.

Such interesting reading in terms of what you don't care about.  Fact is, this is pure Trump - he simply lowers the bar in so many ways each and every day in office.  I'll give you credit for two things, your honesty, and some great reading!

Yes, I tend to draw the line at maintaining a kill list and summarily executing US citizens. Call me when Trump starts doing that. Until then he can grab every pornstar's punani, take every bribe, scam every bourgeois liberal college applicant,  deport every mexican snuggler, and walk around with a hydroxychloroquine IV drip for all I care.

Trump didn't lower my bar, Obama did.

All I want from a president is that he doesn't overtly murder people in targeted assassinations, and that he lowers the amount of money I have to pay to the government at the end of the year. I have plenty of issues with Trump, but when he fires missiles at a country, the only thing he kills is a couple of rusty sheds in an unused airfield and a few goats.

It always comes back to Obama on this forum, in a non-specific way of course.  It's difficult to engage with you in any sort of discussion as you are so prone to complete exaggeration.  So far, from you observations, I can gather that:

-It's completely ok to lie and tell blatant falsehoods.

-Nepotism good!  It's totally fine to put family in important positions where they have little experience.

-President-owned private businesses (resorts, etc.) can profit from their own/staff decisions, funded by taxpayers.  I think this is against the rules but this is good.

-Groping, grabbing women, porn star experiences, payoffs, bragging about it - all good, no worries there.

I understand some of what you said is sarcasm, but it does seem that this is the level we're at in terms of expectations of a leader.

Of course it's hyperbole, I'm not sure it's sarcasm.

Most of the things you list are a matter of perspective. It's your opinion that Trump lies. But it's just as easy to say that the media holds his off the cuff remarks, or thinking out loud to a bizarre standard. I hold people to the same standards I hold myself. If I make an off the cuff remark, or think outloud, I wouldn't like to be called a liar. Not everyone is writing an effing scientific thesis when they speak.

All politicians lie, and many of them have not been held to account for their lies, and yet Trump is constantly held to the fire over the most trivial things. It's a double standard.

Of course nepotism is good. This is a problem of basic values. If I have a job that needs doing and there are two people who can do it. One is my child or family member, and they're say 75% as good as a total stranger, I'll hire my family member. Because family matters. Community matters. I'd rather my money go to support my family, friends and community. This BS "omfg, nepotism" is ridiculous. I am 100% okay with Trump getting help from his family, so long as they can realistically do the job "good enough." I find most of his children to be fairly competent. So I have no issues with him hiring from his family.

Yes, president owned private businesses can benefit from their political position. I think that's fine. However, if you'd like to fight this, why aren't you going after all of the politicians who have seen a revolving door between business and politics? I'll believe you really care about this issue when Trump isn't at the top of your list. You're just using this as a handhold because you don't like Trump. The entire Clinton Foundation has been funded by selling access. When you give equal weight to Clinton, Cheney, and others, then I'll take you seriously adding Trump to the list.

This is the one that really gets my goat, because liberals have been cramming morally relative "why do you care who someone loves" BS down our throats for over 60 years. Yes, Trump lived a wealthy, liberal new york lifestyle. Why is he now being punished by the liberals for it? It's hypocrisy. It's like what G. K. Chesterton said of Oscar Wilde: "We lauded him for preaching what we broke his heart in penal servitude for practicing."

Trump is a double Whammy. It helps that he's more or less on the side of conservatism, so a lot of his policies work out to be okay, but what really makes Trump great is that he is revenge for 60 years of liberals looking down their noses at everyone with their poncy upper middle class secular moral relativity.

Half of the country deserves Trump, and every serious conservative is going to help tilt their heads back and make sure they swallow a healthy dose.

Trump has not done a single thing people claimed he was gonna do. He hasn't crashed the economy, or accidentally fired any nuclear missiles. Basically, the only thing he has done is put some judges on the supreme court, edited some epa policies, assasinated a terrorist leader, and opened the salt mines in every liberal's  eyes for 3 years straight. It's glorious.

Here's to 4 more years!

Well said sir, well said.  You do have a way of putting into words what so many struggle to do.  Ok, part of it is because we think so much of it should be so obvious, but I'd wager more so that we just haven't been able to put the words together in the proper order to say it succinctly.  IMHO, you have done so, and more.  Thank you!
