"Climate change is a killer, but we don't acknowledge it on death certificates," co-author Dr Arnagretta Hunter, from the The Australian National University (ANU) Medical School, said. "There is second component on a death certificate which allows for pre-existing conditions and other factors.

"If you have an asthma attack and die during heavy smoke exposure from bushfires, the death certificate should include that information. We can make a diagnosis of disease like coronavirus, but we are less literate in environmental determinants like hot weather or bushfire smoke." ... 

"Climate change is the single greatest health threat that we face globally even after we recover from coronavirus," Dr Hunter said.

Professors in academia are touting a new study that is being used to call for “climate change” to be added as a cause of death on death certificates. “Climate change is a killer, but we don’t acknowledge it on death certificates,” co-author Dr Arnagretta Hunter, from The Australian National University (ANU) Medical School, said. The study was published May 20, 2020 in The Lancet Planetary Health.

Given the focus on COVID-19 infection rates and death tolls, it appears the climate activists in academia may want in on the scary and emotional death toll counts in order to draw attention back to their climate cause.

Hunter explained: “There is second component on a death certificate which allows for pre-existing conditions and other factors. “If you have an asthma attack and die during heavy smoke exposure from bushfires, the death certificate should include that information.”

The study claims: “Death certification needs to be modernized, indirect causes should be reported, with all death certification prompting for external factors contributing to death, and these death data must be coupled with large-scale environmental datasets so that impact assessments can be done.”  

Statistician Dr. Matt Briggs reacted this way: “They discovered a way to boost fear and keep control!” Briggs added, “Daily body counts blasted from the evil media, ‘Over 100 people died from climate change today, raising questions about … blah blah…'”

This study - postulating multiple, asynchronous dynamos within the sun - has shown a 97% correlative accuracy rate to 400 years of historical data.

The next ~25 years will be increasingly cooler, wetter, and - of greatest concern - have shorter growing seasons.

Temperature effect upon humans will not be so great as we can turn up the thermostats a bit/put on a thicker sweater.

Food supply may be another matter.

Trough years will occur between 2028 and 2032.

Reputable labs all across the world - including NASA'S Ames Research Center  - are corroborating these findings.

Stupidity, as we can observe every day, is by itself perfectly harmless, otherwise Donald Trump would not have many voters (and his own personal well-being would be constantly threatened). And when stupidity kills, other people than the stupid are often affected (the botched up Trump's response to the COVID-19 pandemic is an excellent example). 

Climate change, although people like you, with shall we say "diminished ability to acknowledge inconvenient fact", has already claimed many human lives, directly, and provably. 

As climate patterns change, and yearly averages rise in many regions (provably and indisputably), vulnerable societies directly dependent on farming and subsistence farming are heavily affected. A poor Indian farmer whose crops fail due to drought several times in a row faces dire existential problems you probably cannot even imagine, because you "hunt" for food in Walmart or Penny Market which are not affected by seasonal weather patterns. Droughts and unpredictable, wild weather are threatening agriculture worldwide is one of the chief causes of the large scale migration we have seen in the recent decade, so you can count some of the migrants as climate change victims as well.

List these ‘lives claimed’ and the cause. The ‘cause’ must be due to human activity, not a natural disaster.

Now Douglas, they have to prove what climate change is first.  Then they'll take a stab at the whole death toll strategy.
