the MDBs and the PFIs of G20 countries provide almost four times as much finance to fossil fuels than to clean energy in an average year.

Too late and on the other side hypocritical.  After the planet is polluted, everyone is talking about pure energy. Where have they been few years ago when was the right time for such decision. Nowhere. Because money and interest are everlasting.

Also, major banks and companies vowed to accelerate the move away from Earth-warming fossil fuels as world leaders met in Paris seeking to unlock new cash for the global economy's shift to greener energy.

French insurer Axa said it would speed up its carbon sector divestment, pulling $2.9 billion from companies which derive more than 30 percent of their revenues from coal.

Dutch bank ING said it would have "close to zero exposure" to coal power generation by 2025, and a group of more than 200 global investors, including banking giant HSBC, launched a campaign to pressure the world's largest corporate greenhouse gas emitters -- including BP, Airbus, Volkswagen, and Glencore -- to go greener.

For clear picture of air - pollution, or damage of Earth I will ask have anyone ever seen the footprint size of an opencut coal mine? And, nfortunately there are hundreds, thousands, millions of them around the world - or the enormous coal shale mines.
