Is there any "simulator" of Chinese censored internet, like link so that non-Chinese can check how it is to be behind the Wall ?

(edited)

There was recently increased number of articles about Chinese human rights abuses and control over information and surveillance.

Like in the title of the thread. Is it possible to enter Chinese internet, so as feel how the cyber world without Guardian, Reuters, CNN or wikipedia or oilprice forum would look like ?

And if possible ? Is it safe ?

I guess you could try a Chinese VPN? Failing that a Hong Kong one.

I'm not sure how big a deal the 'great firewall' really is other than certain social media sites not working.
