This world's largest supplier of car parts has announced a development breakthrough for diesel vehicles that radically cuts nitrogen oxide emissions to 10 times below the legal limits set for 2020.  The drastic reduction of NOx emissions by the tech is so large it is thought they would comply with any future emission limits imposed.

It looks like yet another effort by a company with a stake in combustion engines to keep supporting the CO2 dumping strategy.

I think Bosch need new management that won't cling to the diesel past. EVs are going mainstream over the next 5 years and due to the far lower operating costs and CO2 emissions.

Cuts diesel emissions to 90% under legal EU regs; environmentalists whine anyway. And Bosch already has its hands into EVs. But until that infrastructure and tech is ready to go mainstream, why not improve on what you already have?

Electric isn't feasible for many uses yet. Having cleaner vehicles and machinery until that point is reached is a good thing.
