Is Russian Giving Up on Production Cut Deal?

Recommended Posts

10.97 million bpd in April, same as March. Large companies produced more in April, while smaller companies produced less for a net zero change. It's not a huge overage, but a two-month overage nonetheless. Is Russia losing its control over its oil companies, or do they just not as committed now that the overhang is essentially gone?

i always thought russia does not pay much of attention to opec and does not feel comfortable with the organisation dictums, so this is why maybe moscow now watching that saudi crown prince is getting closer to washington and with the prospect of enduring sanctions against Iran by the White House, a thing Moscow wont like at all and supported by Riyadh, the leader of OPEC, and after the recent raise of prices of saudi oil to china, then russia definitely will slowly and gradually step away from this deal, which is being complied almost in an accidental way (this is due to different interruptions and disruptions based on ongoing political and security threats and risks) in Venezuela, Libya, Nigeria, and not entirely in a voluntary way, in my particular manner.
