Article worth reading, despite the unusual source.

And time for me to add in that the potential clout of the PetroYuan should steadily increase.  Which countries that China elects to import Oil & Gas and LNG from may help decide China's "PetroYuan checkbook diplomacy". (So far, I can't think of a better phrase to describe China's political intentions by using the force of their Yuan rather than military force.  Anyone have a better phrase?)

Hence the desire to help Iran set up for LNG exports / south pars. China is the king of 'soft power'.
