WH sends $15 billion in proposed spending cuts

Recommended Posts

The White House is finalizing a multi-billion roster of proposed spending cuts but is leaving this year’s $1.3 trillion catchall spending bill alone.Cut request could total in the $15 billion range, up from the most recent estimate of $11 billion. Those cuts likely won’t come out of the $1.3 trillion omnibus funding bill signed into law in March, but will come from past spending that was never used.

So you spend 1.3 trillion and ask for 15 billion back so they can say they are fiscal hawks. Shallow
