2018: electoral year in many oil and gas producing countries

Interestingly an important part of relevant oil and gas producing and exporting countries have and will be carrying out presidential or parliamentary elections this 2018, such as :

1.) Russia 2.) Egypt 3.) Lebanon 4.) Mexico 5.) Colombia 6.) Venezuela 7.) Brazil 8.) Libya 9.) U.S.A ( midterm elections) 10.) Malaysia 11.) Turkey

All of which will have either mild or significant impact for their respective oil and gas sectors and the steering or not of current legal frameworks with consequences to global oil and gas markets.

Russia, done. Turkey, foregone conclusion. Libya, ha! can't be anymore chaos than there is already, can there? Lebanon, regardless will be political paralysis; Venezuela, Mexico maybe the most interesting for oil?
