Netanyahu, who faces charges of corruption, just made a tactical step backwards, saying he will not commit other atrocities (settling on a territory belonging to the State of Palestine). Douglas Buckland + 6,308 August 14, 2020 Why would you expect the Palestinians (who target Israel with unguided munitions as a national past time) to be present at negotiations between Israel and the UAE? The State of Palestine is a de jour state recognized by the UN and other players, but is by no means an internationally recognized entity. There is no standing legal decision to prevent Israel from building settlements. Why should Israel kow tow to a neighboring entity who vows to destroy them? Sounds kind of silly to me.
