My experiences suggest not. The more they invest and diversity, the worse off they probably are from a profitability perspective. When they were privately owned subsidizing this project didn't need publicity, but it's been losing money for quite some time. Oh course, as one VP told me, it's hard to make money when something always seems to be on fire.
