Inviting in? Personally, I see a cop massively outnumbered by possibly armed civilians not wanting to shoot them or get shot, choosing restraint and safety and falling back to join up with colleagues. What would you expect the officer to have done - stood his ground? Opened fire? I wonder what would have happened to him if he had done that?

I dunno - you finally get a bit of the fight back you want, but then it was all fake/staged/the other side did it??? Is anything simply, just maybe, how it seems, or is literally everything some conspiracy, psyop, hoax now?

What you saw was an announcement by the intruders of who they are, the police man letting them in and coming into view again  picking up his discarded baton and brandishing it aimlessly in the air and yelling. This is a repeat of what happened at the front of the Capitol as the cap police retreated before the small group in front of the crowd control fence segments who were waiting for a signal that came from an operative behind the cap police line. Later, at the entrance to the building proper the police loitered about while the "storming" of the capitol was composed of a thin stream of intruders entering unchallenged.

I don't want this kind of fight back. Particularly as it was timed to disturb the process of challenging the EC slates. We are to believe protesters came in just in time to disrupt the process they were excitedly waiting for. The process Trump promised would be revelatory. Obviously, it was a made up event by Pelosi and her ground level activists and the capitol police which she controls. A false flag.

No one won yesterday. It was a disaster on many fronts.

I have said many times that I am no particular fan of Mr. Trump's.

However, from my viewpoint, I see socialism coming in.

And if the right thing had been done--the early appointment of a bipartisan commission to oversee a forensic examination of the voting machines--this issue (which the American people need to have settled) would have been long put to rest.

This was a sad day for America, and for Mr. Trump.

As is my wont, I tried to put myself in his shoes: sharp voting irregularities, news censored, social media deleted, Republican Party mostly deserted, total failure of the courts to examine the complaints. I would have been angry too. Any supporter would say that he'd showed conviction and determination in his stand; any detractor or hater would say that he incited a riot.

Either way, he is finished. Partly by his own narcissism, pride, lack of humility and meanness to underlings. Partly by a very determined Democrat Party hell-bent on obtaining power and changing America to their own design. Lots of people--including many in the Republican Party--want to see him utterly destroyed, a shadow of his former self, gone under the cloud of Section 25. He hasn't much more to lose.

Me? I'd buy a very big boat and enjoy the sunshine of Florida. He? I don't think so. I think he will spend the rest of his days looking for an answer that could have been readily provided by all the failsafe systems put into place by an almost leakproof Constitution.

And we all have to work to heal this great divide that has been somehow wedged down the spine of our country. I imagine from the tenor of your post that you see me as some mean-spirited old fellow. Well, I'm old, and I would desperately like to protect my oil and gas interests; they are pretty much my life. On the other hand, I have had a difficult time figuring out your side of things too; I don't understand installing such an elderly, compromised man as president, only to have him cloistered and speaking only from a teleprompter for fear of the demolition of a simple sentence, backed up by a socialistic-leaning woman--the two of them with repeated vows to ban fracking.

I have railed against violation of TRRC Statewide Rule 32--venting gas for >24 hours or flaring for >10 days--because I believe in reducing the amount of methane gas emissions as much as possible, not to mention the optics and the waste. However, when I try to look back at what and where we'd be if there had been no fracking, it looks worse. To confuse my solid stand against things--venting/flaring, installing an administration ready to destroy the American oil & gas industry--with condoning other things--rampant damage to the environment, violence--is a silly and irresponsible way to make your point.

It's the main reason that I too shall depart this site. Not from having my feelings hurt, or some sense of being on the wrong path--I feel just as strongly about how this should have been handled. But because of people like you, who just keeps pushing on a string. Your post shows that somehow, for some utterly obscure reason, want to paint me into this corner, as if I am some Proud Boy or something. I'm not leaving angry or even hurt, just sad at the terrible mean spirit and division that has taken over our country. Maybe I've lost my mojo, but I just don't see any use in railing on about how a bipartisan commission should be appointed to make damn sure there was no major-league voting irregularity. I have a pretty decent education and like to think that I'm of a measured mind when stating my opinion; I'm no brawler. Like the rest of you I'll be watching to see how the next few years unfold, and if there was an issue with the machines, the truth will out. I wonder what that would do to the fabric of our flag.

The appropriate response is to fight back and hold your ground. Not leave the territories of debate to your opponents. You can't present a counter argument without making it.

I don't believe Trump is done.

If the spooks' rumor mill has any truth to it then Trump's counter to the coup will take place in a matter of days.

“THEY’RE BEING TOLD TO STAY AWAY FROM TRUMP”: AFTER A DAY OF VIOLENCE AND 25TH AMENDMENT CHATTER, TRUMP’S ALLIES ARE JUMPING SHIP

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2021/01/after-a-day-of-violence-and-25th-amendment-chatter-trumps-allies-jumping-ship

As the violent mob incited by President Donald Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, some West Wing staffers panicked that they were possibly becoming participants in a coup to overthrow the government. “What do I do? Resign?” one nervous White House staffer asked a friend on Wednesday afternoon, shortly after news broke that a woman had been shot and killed inside the Capitol. The West Wing staffer told the friend that White House Counsel Pat Cipollone was urging White House officials not to speak to Trump or enable his coup attempt in any way, so they could reduce the chance they could be prosecuted for treason under the Sedition Act. “They’re being told to stay away from Trump,” the friend said. The White House declined to comment.

To quote Byrne and Flynn, these are the president's home base infiltrators that have been sabotaging his presidency from its beginning.

What Trump would be doing is to kick out these people who have revealed themselves as false members of his team.

The Wizards did not feel that we should hear the words of U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz anymore, and summarily killed the video.  Bask in the warm feelings, knowing your rights to free speech are the same as the Chinese people.  Isn't it wonderful to have even more in common than before?

Rep. Matt Gaetz Speech Transcript After Riots at Capitol Building: Objection of Electors

Rev  Blog  Transcripts  Congressional Testimony & Hearing Transcripts  Rep. Matt Gaetz Speech Transcript After Riots at Capitol Building: Objection of Electors

Representative Matt Gaetz spoke on the House floor January 6 after Donald Trump supporters and protestors broke into the Capitol building. Gaetz objected to the counting of electors, citing fraud, and claimed that some of the Trump supporters who breached the Capitol were actually members of Antifa. Read the full transcript here.

Matt Gaetz: (00:05)
Madam Speaker, one of the first things we did when the House convened today was to join together to extend our grace and our kindness and our concern for a colleague who has experienced just an insurmountable amount of grief with his family, and I want all of our fellow Americans watching to know that we did that because we care about each other and we don’t want bad things to happen to each other, and our heart hurts when they due. Now, I’m sure there are plenty of folks over there who don’t like me too much, and there are few of you that I don’t care for too much, but if anybody had been hurt today, it would have been even more of a catastrophe than we already saw and I think that’s an important point for the country.

Matt Gaetz: (00:48)
Another important point for the country is that this morning, President Trump explicitly called for demonstrations and protests to be peaceful. He was far more… You can moan and groan but he was far more explicit about his calls for peace than some of the BLM and left-wing rioters were this summer when we saw violence sweep across this nation. Now, we came here today to debate, to follow regular order, to offer an objection, to follow a process that is expressly contemplated in our constitution. And for doing that we got called a bunch of seditious traitors.

Matt Gaetz: (01:30)
Now, not since 1985 has a Republican president been sworn in absent some Democrat effort to object to the electors but when we do it it is the new violation of all norms and when those things are said, people get angry. Now, I know there are many countries where political violence may be necessary but America is not one such country.

Matt Gaetz: (01:51)
Madam Speaker, it was wrong when people vandalized and defaced to your home, it was wrong when thugs went to Senator Holly’s home, and I don’t know if the reports are true, but the Washington Times has just reported some pretty compelling evidence from a facial recognition company showing that some of the people who breached the Capitol today were not Trump supporters, they were masquerading as Trump supporters, and in fact we’re members of the violet terrorist group, Antifa. Now, we should seek to build America up not tear her down and destroy her. And I am sure glad that at least for one day I didn’t hear my Democratic colleagues calling to defund the police.

Matt Gaetz: (02:34)
Now, I appreciate all the talk. Now, I appreciate all the talk of coming together but let us not pretend that our colleagues on the left have been free of some anti-democratic impulses just because we signed on to legal briefs and asked courts to resolve disputes. There were some in the left who said that we should not even be seated in the body, that we ought to be prosecuted, maybe even jailed. Those arguments anger people, but people do understand the concepts of basic fairness and no competition, contest, or election can be deemed fair if the participants are subject to different rules.

Matt Gaetz: (03:27)
Baseball teams that cheat and steal signs should be stripped of their championships. Russian Olympians who cheat and use steroids should be stripped of their medals and states that do not run clean elections should be stripped of their electors. This fraud was systemic, it was repeated. It was the same system and I dare say it was effective. We saw circumstances where when Democrat operatives couldn’t get the outcomes they wanted in state legislators, when they couldn’t get the job done there, they went and pressured, and litigated, and usurped the constitution with extra constitutional action of some officials in some states. They fraudulently laundered ballots, votes, voter registration forms, and then they limited review.

Matt Gaetz: (04:18)
In 2016, Democrats found out that they couldn’t beat Donald Trump at the ballot box with voters who actually show up, so they turned to impeachment and the witness box. And when that failed they ran to the mailbox where this election saw an unprecedented amount of votes that could not be authenticated with true ID, with true signature match, and with true confidence for the American people.

Matt Gaetz: (04:45)
Our Article III courts have failed by not holding evidentiary hearings to weigh the evidence. We should not join in that failure. We should vindicate the rights of states, we should vindicate the subpoenas in Arizona that have been issued to get a hold of these voting machines and we should reject these electors. I yield back.

Orchestrating a mob to pressure Congress is inexcusable

When I show you video evidence that the ones "orchestrating" the mob going into the capital building were the police, when you learn that the woman who was killed was shot by Chuck Shumer's personal security detail (even though he was long gone in the tunnels) and when you compare the protesters who stormed into the capital building during the Kavanaugh hearings, how exactly is it different?

The voice over is by a man who wasn't born here and mistakenly refers to the capital building as the White House in his narration. But unlike the midwits constantly prattling on here about "orange man bad" this man can see thru all the BS. Like the so-called called rioters peacefully walking between the carefully placed velvet ropes! Rioters do that? Do tell. I didn't get to see the rioters of the past 8 months stay inside the lines like this. The perfect camera position is another tell as if, in the middle of a (false flag) riot, intrepid CNN photographers set up cameras right where they knew protesters were going to peacefully walk. I've got plenty more, just watching to see if my post gets deleted again

I watched all of that live, and this guy is spot on.  At no time did I see more than 20 people in the chamber.  Single officers were always at the front of the small groups that were "charging" through, but seemed to look more like guides TBH.  Camera placements, no destruction except for a few forced doors.  Constantly telling how hard it is to navigate the building but people found Nancy's office.  BTW, apparently, Nancy has a very small desk?  Some guy took an envelope!  He even put his feet up on Nancy's small desk!  Another stole a nameplate!  No toppled and crashed statues, in a Statuary Hall!  Idiots!  Didn't they see their chance?!!  They could have destroyed so much.  They could have taken police officers hostage!  They could have made bonfires out of chairs, desks, stationary and so forth!  Idiots!  Didn't they see their chance?  Who shot that poor woman?  Oh, it was a "police officer".  I see.  The other 3 deaths were reported by the Mayor and police chief to have happened elsewhere, were "non-injury related" but they resulted in their deaths (heart attacks?  What?)  And on and on and on.

As the man in your video says, "it was a TV show".  Interesting take saying that Trump is just part of the long term plan to bring the country to its knees.  Of course that is possible, whether Donald Trump was aware of it or not.

We have bred some evil masters, haven't we?

To crib from Candace Owens, this was the despicable scene last night as the Trump protesters rioted and looted outside the capital

Oops, my bad, this was the riots this summer, when the press said nothing at all (other than claim "mostly peaceful protests").

I can go back thru your posts here where you gleefully talked about throwing Trump and his supporters in jail. You were less than clear on the crime, you've talked about Covid response, selling hotel rooms at market rates etc. I don't blame people in relatively meaningless positions to not stick around, when Big Tech overlords are publicly attacking the freaking President of the United States and banning him off their platforms. Trump said everyone needed to go home peacefully, so twitter banned him for that. How long until Trump's cabinet staff have their houses attacked and their businesses shuttered because they wanted to perform a civic duty to their country?

You sow the wind, you will reap the hurricane.

A cautionary tale. When the left not only kept a blind eye to their rioters for years, they can hardly act surprised when others want to play in the same game. The Capitol police dept didn't perform their duties yesterday, their Captain has already resigned in disgrace, and the videos that YouTube can't delete (because people are getting smart about not leaving anything on their platform) clearly show Capitol police escorting the "bad guys" dressed as Trump supporters into the hallowed halls of Congress. Kudos to the left, they'll stop at nothing to consolidate power, including cold blooded murder. I won't mourn their comeuppance.

Affidavit of the Leonardo, Italy corporation employee that ran the vote manipulation via Leonardo's satellite system and Frankfurt was delivered to Trump and congressmen during the Capitol feigned attack by Nancy Pelosi's Antifa+BLM friends.

The evidence was given in an Italian court on Nov. 6 as part of a scandal prosecution of Leonardo executives and employees for this and other matters.

Other official organizations involved are Conti's office in Italy. The US embassy in Rome, the CIA, MI6.

The video for as long as they let it stand.
