You can blame Arpaio for helping turn Arizona blue, at the cost of the image of law enforcement and the image of the Republican party via his racist policies:

Even though I have you blocked, there's a bug in the site software when I click on the "new" button. Just wanted to point out for everyone what a moron looks like from, China is it? Who else thinks a Domino has "strings"? Someone who's never seen one?

So no answer to time-frame question.

The word "string" has many more meanings than you understand.

Does anyone here think that a "domino effect" is meant to mean "this will take decades?"

No, it means once started a bunch of stuff happens in rapid succession.

McCain associate shared unverified Steele dossier with Buzzfeed, court filing says

An associate of the late Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain shared with Buzzfeed News a copy of the unverified, salacious opposition research dossier alleging that Russians had compromising material on President Trump, according to a bombshell federal court filing Wednesday.

McCain had strenuously denied being the source for Buzzfeed after it published the dossier, which was funded by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. In recent days, the dossier's credibility has increasingly come under question, as the Yahoo News investigative reporter who broke news of its existence said many of its claims were "likely false," and an adviser to ex-Trump lawyer Michael Cohen said Cohen never went to Prague to pay off Russian hackers, as alleged in the dossier.

Cindy McCain talks about Hunter Biden, sacrifices and Meghan in new interview

Cindy McCain, the widow of the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), discussed her own battle with opioid addiction while criticizing the treatment of President Biden's son Hunter in a new podcast Tuesday.

“This is not to be political and I don't mean it to be, but in the case of Hunter Biden, whether you like him or not, whether you agree with him or not, I don't care. But the fact of the matter, they have once again shamed a man who is struggling in addiction, and the media has taken no sense of responsibility about helping him deal with this,” McCain said in an interview on theSkimm’s podcast “Skimm’d From The Couch," released Tuesday evening.

“Instead, they've made sure that he's a laughing stock of America, and I just find that wrong,” she continued.

McCain associate planned anti-Trump leaks to Washington Post columnist

The associate of John McCain who spread anti-Trump dossier claims around Washington post-election planned to leak a story to Washington Post columnist David Ignatius about Paul Manafort, according to court testimony.

Mr. Ignatius wrote the Jan. 12, 2017 column that eventually doomed retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Mr. Trump’s first and brief national security adviser. The source was an Obama administration official, Mr. Ignatius wrote.

The McCain evidence emerged in July in a London courtroom, where dossier creator Christopher Steele faces a defamation lawsuit from a Russian CEO. Mr. Steele compiled the dossier for the Democratic Party. After Donald Trump won the presidency Mr. Steele provided memo copies to the Republican McCain and his associate David J.

McCain is referred to as a traitor in the military. He is directly linked to working with the CIA to setup ISIS and several other terrorist operations. McCain's business was human trafficking and drug smuggling under the CIA's main funding operations (think the British East India company). Also a principal in executing endless dirty trick campaigns like the Steele dossier.

"Maverick McCain" learned early on, the big bucks were pretending to be a Republican while collecting from the Demoncrats. His sons all went into business with democrat support and of course, he never missed an opportunity to stand up and vote against the Republicans on some critical bill. He knew that if 52 Republican's voted yes, that was not newsworthy, but if one senator voted no, he'd be interviewed by all the channels.

Trump can keep babbling about the election, he should be focused on the NY Grand Jury. Hope he enjoys stripes. Just keep in mind 90 to 95 percent of grand juries vote to indict when presented criminal activity and all it takes is a simple majority to indict. Once again NY Grand Jury? hope he likes stripes.

New grand jury seated for next stage of Trump investigation

By MICHAEL R. SISAKan hour ago

NEW YORK (AP) — New York prosecutors have convened a special grand jury to consider evidence in a criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump’s business dealings, a person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

The development signals that the Manhattan district attorney’s office was moving toward seeking charges as a result of its two-year investigation, which included a lengthy legal battle to obtain Trump’s tax records.

The person familiar with the matter was not authorized to speak publicly and did so on condition of anonymity. The news was first reported by The Washington Post.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. is conducting a wide-ranging investigation into a variety of matters such as hush-money payments paid to women on Trump’s behalf, property valuations and employee compensation.

The Democratic prosecutor has been using an investigative grand jury through the course of his probe to issue subpoenas and obtain documents. That panel kept working while other grand juries and court activities were shut down because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The investigation includes scrutiny of Trump’s relationship with his lenders; a land donation he made to qualify for an income tax deduction; and tax write-offs his company claimed on millions of dollars in consulting fees it paid.

The new grand jury could eventually be asked to consider returning indictments. While working on that case, it also will be hearing other matters. The Post reported that the grand jury will meet three days a week for six months.

Trump contends the investigation is a “witch hunt.”

“This is purely political, and an affront to the almost 75 million voters who supported me in the Presidential Election, and it’s being driven by highly partisan Democrat prosecutors,” Trump said in a statement.

Vance’s office declined to comment.

The new grand jury is the latest sign of increasing momentum in the criminal investigation into the Republican ex-president and his company, the Trump Organization.

Attorney General Letitia James said last week that she assigned two lawyers to work with Vance’s office on the probe after her civil investigation into

James, a Democrat, said her office also is continuing its civil investigation into Trump. She did not say what prompted her office to expand its investigation into a criminal probe.

In recent months, Vance hired former mafia prosecutor Mark Pomerantz to help run the investigation and has been interviewing witnesses, including Trump’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen.

Vance declined to run for reelection and will leave office at the end of the year, meaning the Trump case is likely to pass to his successor in some form. An election next month is all but certain to determine who that will be.

Trump said in a statement last week that he’s being “unfairly attacked and abused by a corrupt political system.” He contends the investigations are part of a Democratic plot to silence his voters and block him from running for president again.

In February, the U.S. Supreme Court buoyed Vance’s investigation by clearing the way for the prosecutor to enforce a subpoena on Trump’s accounting firm and obtain eight years of tax returns and related documents for the former president, the Trump Organization and other Trump entities.

The documents are protected by grand jury secrecy rules and are not expected to be made public.

Vance’s investigation has appeared to focus in recent weeks on Trump’s longtime finance chief, Allen Weisselberg. His former daughter-in-law, Jen Weisselberg, is cooperating with both inquiries.

She’s given investigators reams of tax records and other documents as they look into whether some Trump employees were given off-the-books compensation, such as apartments or school tuition.

Allen Weisselberg was subpoenaed in James’ civil investigation and testified twice last year. His lawyer declined to comment when asked Tuesday if he had been subpoenaed to testify before the new grand jury.

A message seeking comment was left with Jen Weisselberg’s lawyer.

Trump evolved into a criminal matter.

Another fake legal assault against Trump. It is a sting against the NY legal establishment. All is recorded, the fake documents, the fishing expeditions, the extortion, the behind the scenes bribes and blackmail against honest investigators and judiciary. At the end, NY AG and Federal AGs like Vance will be in jail on abuse of power, extortion and RICO.

Wiesselberg is a honey pot trap for them. This will not end the way they are thinking it will. The Trump presidency was an engineered trap for the corrupt system to out itself and reveal its sleepers and fellow travelers. Trump's finances are a product of decades of FBI sting operations against several rounds of NYC and NJ mafia operations. They will have to invent and implant "evidence" and will be caught red handed as soon as it is presented in court to complete the crime.

@notsonice why aren't you defending Xiden? Why aren't you talking about what a fool he is for "test driving" a truck where there's a real driver on the passenger side? Your truck only has one gear, reverse. Xiden is the Resident of the White House and you keep acting like it's Trump. Know something we don't know? Or something we all know.

The AG campaigned on going after Trump, that's called prejudicial, it's not supposed to be that kind of role. Meanwhile, you know who isn't being investigated in New York? How about all those people attacking Asians? How about all the BLM rioters who caused billions in damage? How about those sexual harassment claims against the governor? But yeah, every crime in the world swept under the rug while you attempt to fabricate one against Trump. Pathetic

In the end only one person will go to prison for screwing with the 2020 election......his name is Donald Trump soon to be known by a number. PS here is a fun fact, Trump was born in Queens and Rikers Island is part of Queens. How much do you want to bet Trump will die in prison only a few miles away from where he was born??????

Still can't say the word Biden can you? can't even look at reality today, your head is in the past. What's it like having Trump living in your head 24/7 rent free? He's a real estate genius, clearly. Maybe that's the crime! After all, he had multiple investigations going through his underwear by everyone and they found nothing. You think Mueller would have given that humiliating testimony to Congress if he'd actually found something? Say the word, say Biden, your glorious leader, the greatest candidate in history! Most votes ever (in small, selected locations). Most downvotes ever for any YouTube he's on. You can't defend him so you attack Trump. If it's over, why are you still after him? Oh, we know, it's because even you don't believe Biden was legitimately elected!

Pathetic

Enjoy Trumps upcoming indictments. AG went to a grand jury to remove the political aspect. Trump today? cleaning his shorts out, he dumped a load and he does not have Barr around anymore to protect him. MAGA.

POLITICO Playbook: ‘Cloud of nerves’ hovers over Trump land after grand jury report

A ‘CLOUD OF NERVES’ HANGS OVER TRUMP: After WaPo reported Tuesday night that Manhattan DA CY VANCE has convened a special grand jury to decide whether to indict former President DONALD TRUMP or execs at his company, we checked in with Trump world to get their take on the latest news.

“There’s definitely a cloud of nerves in the air,” one adviser said, adding that this feels different than the typical barrage of legal issues surrounding Trump because there is pressure on Trump Org CFO ALLEN WEISSELBERG to flip. “I think the Weisselberg involvement and the wild card of that makes the particular situation more real, because there’s no sort of fluff and made-up fictional circumstances around the guy. … The fact that they’re dealing with a numbers guy who just has plain details makes people more nervous. This is not a MICHAEL COHEN situation.”

As for Trump, his first reaction to the grand jury news was his default — it’s a political witch hunt. But how can it be a political witch hunt if he’s not in the game anymore, you ask? Simple: Float another run for president. “Interesting that today a poll came out indicating I’m far in the lead for the Republican Presidential Primary and the General Election in 2024,” he said in a statement responding to the news. His aides say his interest in running isn’t just a defense tactic — “he’s missing being president terribly,” one said. Others have said that he gets angry when questioned if he’s really serious.

Meanwhile, POLITICO legal affairs ace Josh Gerstein writes in about the significance of the Trump grand jury: “A source close to one witness in the probe says prosecutors have been methodically combing through evidence in informal interviews and were expected to move to take formal testimony soon.

“That Vance is using a grand jury to gather information about Trump and Trump Organization finances is nothing new. A legal fight over a grand jury subpoena for Trump’s tax returns broke out back in 2019 and went all the way to the Supreme Court. Vance prevailed, finally winning copies of Trump’s taxes this past February.

“But the new grand jury is expected to go beyond assembling records by hearing live testimony from various witnesses — which will give prosecutors an opportunity to present a narrative that could persuade jurors to return an indictment in the coming months. Coupled with [New York] Attorney General LETITIA JAMES’ recent decision to team up with Vance and Vance’s hiring of veteran mafia prosecutor MARK POMERANTZ, the move to a new grand jury suggests a steady progression towards criminal charges against some person or company in the Trump orbit.”
