Not that I would immediately expect a miraculous vaccine, but the news itself, taking into account British-Russian relations, is interesting and positive, especially that Astra Zeneca is in turn a Swedish company and Swedish-Russian relations are also not the best.

In general, both vaccines are based on adenonaviruses and are at least a bit similar to each other, so it's always worth a try.

At the same time, adenoviruses themselves are deprived of the ability to replicate - they are a system for delivering genetic material (antigen) to the cells of the human body.

"Research on different vaccine regimens is needed in order to evaluate the possibility of creating more flexible vaccination programs that give doctors a wider choice of approaches to disease prevention. Combinations of different vaccines have the potential to induce a more sustained and lasting immune response," the report says.

Clinical trials of the combined use of vaccines will be conducted with volunteers aged 18 and over.

When I was still very young and naive, believing playing with genes could save starving small kids of prawns which had ~90% mortality rate during change of stages back then.......... other people around me used to play with something called Bacteriophage and plasmid DNA of bacteria, if not mistaken, and then, created hybrid of new things e.g. plants, out of it........... Not sure if they would be useful in delivering highly unstable RNA virus??

Pfizer did it without trumps help.  Look it up, Pfizer refused the warp speed research money, only made a distribution agreement. Big Pharma doesn't need handouts...

Trump did NOT make the vaccine!
