Germany's Angela Merkel wants Joe Biden to declare the environment a "National Emergency" . So he can bypass our democratic institutions and processes, spend $ Trillions to impose their program.

" BERLIN (AP) — The U.S. and Germany must stand “side by side” in handling the coronavirus pandemic, fighting global warming and terrorism, and in working for “an open global economy and free trade,” German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Monday."

Merkel wants U.S. and Germany to cooperate on three main areas (1) Global Warming (2) terrorism (3) " an open global economy and free trade" 

Let me translate Angela's wish list from Joe.

(1) Global Warming : Germany has no natural gas or oil resources putting them at a disadvantage. Green energy economy (like green hydrogen) will help Germany going forward. If Joe declares a national environmental emergency just like Covid 19 he will do whatever his benefactors want at the expense of the folks.  Joe with this will increase costs for U.S. industry and consumers thus decrease U.S. competitiveness. Advantage Angela.   The Democrat mantra "Never let a Crisis go to Waste"

(2) Terrorism : Merkel has the balls to ask (tell) U.S. to fight terrorism when Germany doesn't pay their NATO dues . Germany also signed onto the "Coalition of the Willing" to rid Syria of ISIS" ,  but balked when asked to put some skin in the game. Now she wants Joe Biden to continue to fight endless wars in the mideast.  Merkel bitched when Trump announced the removal of troops from Iraq.  Merkel wants U.S. to spend more $Trillions and add thousands in loss of life so she gets her mideast oil at a reasonable price and eliminate more immigrants entering Germany. 

(3) Open Global Economy/Free Trade : Of course Angel want Free Trade (by the way there is no such thing as free trade anymore.  WTO is also a joke). Merkel put 25% tariff on U.S. vehicles going to Germany while only paying 2% to import car parts and vehicles into the United States.  Angela buys Natural Gas from Russia , stiffs the U.S. and then wants U.S. to protect Germany from Russia. Free Trade is a hoax.  Joe will fall for it.

An environment national emergency will hurt the U.S. natural gas and oil Industry. I'm for a green future, however this Green deal will spend trillions over the coming years that will enrich the investment bankers and hedge funds managers.  Also the carbon tax will not clean up the environment.  It will only benefit the trading desks that will be the intermediary.

Joe B will give Angela everything she has on her wish list.

1) Germany needs to warm up, so what is Angela Merkel smoking?

2) Do not import Muslims, kick the ones you have; out.

3) Already have it as the big wigs have taken eveyeryone's jobs and run pell-mell to the 3rd world where slavery or effectively slavery is still legal. We trade your jobs for a back door cut.  Germany is better in this respect than the USA, but not by much.
