What are the geopolitical ramifications of a soon to be toothless US military?

I do not underestimate military power of the United States.  I've been to San Diego and seen massive ships and to Tucson where there are literally fields filled with old planes and modern fighters practising above.

The Americans have so much military hardware that they don't even bother with the "old stuff" aircraft that get sent to the boneyard.  Those machines will never fly again; they are there for cannibalization for spare parts only, then eventually they get shredded for the metal.  Yet, some if not most of those planes are superior to the air forces of much of the rest of the world  (not the Russian Sukhoi's, to be sure.)

I actually drove by the plane dump a few times - even that was impressive.

Some in the fields looked well-preserved and nearly flight ready (clean, with coverings over sensors, intakes, exhaust).

The truth of the matter is, THE Military Industrial Complex and the US Govt' are so intertwined anymore(Eisenhower was sooooo right) that the Military will never be toothless in equipment, but MAYBE lack trained people to operate the ships, fly the aircraft, drive the Tanks...ECT. not to mention repair and maintain said equimnet as our allies in GB and Australia found out when you let the gov't take care of the people too much(IE Socilised medecine, Welfare programs) With the current witch hunt intiated by the new Sec Def, that might be sooner than later.

The electronic spectrum will play a large part in future warfare, but taking territry will still involve boot on the ground.

BTW we only have 2 carriers left in Mothballs, rest are scrapped. Only one could maybe be reactivated, the Kitty Hawk. The Kennedy is pretty much stripped, and the old Big E is being dimantled on Portsmouth.

Leftists continually attempt to subvert the military and all aspects of our government and culture. Changing the names of our famous Southern Forts is one example that President Trump would have stopped. When I was in the army in Germany during the Goldwater versus Johnson race, our company commander told us that we should vote for Johnson or would be going to Vietnam. Johnson said that Goldwater would IMO have bombed the hell out of North Vietnam and not sent large numbers of soldiers there.

There were many reports, during Obama's tenure of chaplains being told not to use the name of Jesus Christ in their services and that bibles were not to be kept on desks or openly displayed. Christmas displays were not allowed in Veterans hospitals either.

We may find that our best potential recruits will not be interested in a military career when they know what the culture of the new army will be. They will be sleeping in barracks with transsexuals and open homosexuals. There have always been covert homosexual draftees. Southerners have always been prominent in the military forces leadership and enlisted forces. They will now be less likely to serve. Expect real problems in keeping forces up and having quality enlistees.

Quality enlisted indeed. When I was young if you were in trouble with the law you had two choices. Jail or the military.
After experiencing the futility of trying to police entire countries like Vietnam and Afganistan the age of the grunt will diminish. The ability to retaliate or engage will rely on high tec weapon systems.
Let’s hope Biden will be the first president to eliminate bases and personal while going hypersonic in a big way.
