That’s how you Russians view it. I think it’s great. The less trade and cooporation with Russia the better. Let’s build that isolation and make it clear investment dollars to and from Russia is problematic. Let’s add China, N Korea and Iran to that list. No need to fight those countries, just isolate them from the free world. Think G 5. Kick-EM out of the UN.
Without the US, Europe, Japan, S Korea, Australia, Canada etc, the financial nuts of these rouge countries would shrink.

A little off topic but Texas is trying to pass a law to allow on your person a gun with no license or training. Don’t be a mouse. Carry a gun.

The US may break ties with Russia. Thanks to this, the Russian-Chinese alliance will strengthen even more and the USA will be pushed out of all Eurasia sooner. The more you put pressure on Russia, the more it is forced to cooperate with China. It is strange that in the American press they did not even write about the fact that Russia provided the Chinese with all the technology of early warning against ballistic missiles, which without the participation of the Russians the Chinese would not have had for a long time. Last year, with an oil price of $ 40, Russian-Chinese trade reached $ 110 billion, so in the foreseeable future it will reach $ 200 billion. America is just losing and is being forced out of Asia by the Russian-Chinese alliance. Game over is coming.

Agree.  But Joe's sanction are but a little slap on the hand.  Meaningless.  The Russian troops are still on the border.

Putin will probably go to the summit to humor Joe.  Then within the next year or two Putin will go into Ukraine.

Did you know the U.S. has been buying a lot of Russian oil over the last year.

Hard to rationalize the prohibiting of the new natural gas pipeline from Russia to Europe when the U.S. is buying their oil. (Some believe it's Venezuelan oil that Russia takes as compensation for $ Billions in loans)

Russia is a problem . . . . but China is a crisis.  But Joe doesn't treat it that way.

If you were China and wanted to crack down on Taiwan would you do it during Joe's term or wait to see who is the next U.S.  President. The answer is obvious.

Imagine if Russia went into Ukraine and China went into Taiwan at the same time.  Joe would just sit their and soil his incontinence diaper.

The good news is Secretary of the Environment John Kerry has spoken to foreign ministers in Russia and China and they are all in on the climate . . . . or so they say. Whoopi ! Give Kerry a quote and then do whatever you want.

Taiwan is the leading chip maker in the world. They have the leading edge tech. The F-35 and all our leading computer advances depend on Taiwan. The US has many of the top companies in the world who also depend on Taiwan. You think Joe is going to lose those chips? I don’t think so.

Joe doesn't even know what day it is, much less which city he's traveling to next. China tells Biden what chips are his, and he only picks the chips from that bowl.

ARTICLE : RATCLIFFE , RIVALS WILL TEST AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF BIDEN'S WEAKNESS

"President Joe Biden's "failing" foreign policy and "wrong decisions" are going to be tested and ultimately "taken advantage of" by the United States' chief world rivals, according to former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe.

"Here's my concern," Ratcliffe told Fox News' "Life, Liberty & Levin" in an interview to air Sunday night. "Joe Biden is a guy who, his very close friend Robert Gates – who served as the secretary of defense with him in the Obama administration – said Joe Biden was wrong on every national security and foreign policy decision in the last 40 years.

"It's one thing to be wrong when you're a United States senator or the vice president, but he's the president of the United States, and he's very early on reflecting that he's still making those wrong decisions when it comes to our national security and foreign policy, and foreign leaders see that and they're taking advantage of it."

Most notably, Biden's challenging of Russian President Vladimir Putin is merely verbal and not tangible, Ratcliffe told host Mark Levin.

"[Russian President Vladimir] Putin is an ex-KGB thug, but he's engaging in the same kind of activity that he did in the Obama-Biden administration when he stole Crimea and crossed over Obama's red line," Ratcliffe said. "And now, 4 years later, he's testing whether or not the president, the new president of the United States that he sees on TV and has made some conclusions about whether or not he thinks he's a strong leader or not.

"But he's going to test – he's testing him right now, and all of these world leaders are."

In a contrast of the foreign policy of former President Donald Trump's "peace through strength," Ratcliffe calls the Biden administration's work to date "chaos through weakness."

"Look at our own southern border, the border security issues, the immigration crisis, what now looks like [is] going to be a crisis in the Middle East or Ukraine or in the straits outside of China," Ratcliffe said, adding, "I fear that that is what our foreign policy is going to look like.

"And what we do is pay attention and see that this is exactly what we don't want and what happens when you don't put America first.

"And, you know, our first opportunity to change that politically will be in 2 years, and that's why it's important to keep talking about these issues and drawing a contrast between the Trump administration policies and the Biden administration policies that, very early, are failing."

Your missing the big picture with Russia. The question should be is how long will it take Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos to have a bigger GDP than Russia. If the US let for example Musk build hypersonic missiles how long would it take him. With high tech and external engineering prowess a guy like musk could build enough missiles in a couple years to kill the world.
If it came to war all of us are dead if the will to war wins. All this fear mongering is silly. Nobody can win.

https://fudzilla.com/news/52463-asml-sells-chipmaking-gear-to-china

ASML (Dutch) is the leading manufacturer in the world that builds equipment for the cutting edge chips. They sell to TSMC (Taiwan) who is the top chip maker in the world.
Now Trump wanted to cut this equipment to China. ASML will supply China until the end of the year.
But so far Biden hasent changed Trumps stance on chip equipment or tariffs and has reaffirmed his support for Taiwan.
These claims sound like Texas energy in a storm or voter fraud. A bunch of blather not founded in facts or with reality.

I would unironically endorse this.

I wouldn’t have several years ago when I still thought there was some chance of productive relations between Russia and the West, and thought that examining misperceptions about Russia in the Anglosphere was a legitimate and effective way of achieving that.

But today, it’s more of a zero-sum game, in which Western antagonism works to Russia’s advantage:

  • Diminishes lustre of emigration (brain drain), while creating the converse effect with respect to repatriation.

  • Russian elites become at least slightly more recalcitrant to park capital abroad.

  • Makes the West and its bad Western memes (#BLM, etc.) as well as their domestic agents and promoters toxic by association.

There remain, to be sure, significant economic and technology transfer reasons to avoid a full breakdown in relations. But these have become much diminished through Russia’s own domestic development, the rising profile of China, and its development of good relations with third parties like South Korea and Israel.
I suspect, as with anti-Semitism and Jewish/Israeli interests, a background of
moderate Russophobia is ultimately net good for Russian state and Russians. Probably in fact more so than the Jews/Israel, because Russia has economies of scale that they do not.

And those relative benefits have increased over the past year, as the West has become more unhinged and less attractive.

There’s not much to add now except that we are approaching the moment of maximum danger. (I noted that if it happens, it will probably happen sometime from late April to July).

What I think essentially happened is that the Ukrainians wanted to do an Operation Storm on Donbass, which is why movements of military equipment into the region began to be observed more than a month ago. Russia cannot allow that to succeed, which is why it began its own mobilization to the Ukrainian borders.

As I pointed out from the start, Ukraine’s primary aim if it loses – as it would, if Russia was to openly intervene in Donbass – is to shut down NS2 and save its budget $3B per year (a significant sum for a country with a military budget of $5B and a GDP of $150B). It might also then get more support for NATO. This deal would not be to Russia’s preferences, so it raised, in poker terms, by credibly threatening much more significant consequences in both rhetoric (MFA spokeswoman Maria Zakharova made an oblique reference to “irreversible consequences for the Ukrainian statehood”) and boots on the border which now number somewhere in between 30,000 and 100,000*. Just a few days ago, Russia closed the Kerch Strait to foreign warships from now until October.

That said, it still doesn’t make very much sense to attack Ukraine when NS2 is on the verge of completion (it is not like anybody will buy into a false flag explanation).

On the other hand, there are other factors pushing the situation to a head. The Biden administration has finally gone ahead and sanctioned purchases of Russian OFZs, as well as put additional sanctions on companies in the Russian MIC (including one involved in producing the Sputnik V vaccine) and expelled 10 Russian diplomats. Bizarrely, the sanctions came soon after Biden suggested a summit with Putin, which made acceding to it impossible for Russia PR-wise. The US also sanctioned Russia media entities, such as Strategic Culture Foundation and SouthFront, that it alleges are controlled by Russian intelligence and their propaganda instruments such as Twitter promptly banned hyperlinks to them. Whether or not it was coordinated with the Americans is hard to say, but this was followed by with expulsions of Russian diplomats from Poland and Czechia – in the latter case, wheeling out a bizarre conspiracy theories about the Petrov & Boshirov duo blowing up weapons shipments bound for Ukraine back in 2014**. Faced with this sanctions and propaganda offensive, the desirability and indeed realism of maintaining some semblance of productive relations with the West must be diminishing by the day.

At the same time, Sino-American relations continue going from bad to worse, with China mounting unprecedented displays of force with respect to its own separatist svidomy entity. Conspiracy theories around the Putin-Burkhalter meeting aside, one other major explanation as to why Russia didn’t realize Novorossiya in 2014 was that China vetoed the idea. But now China is larger and stronger than back then and is rapidly decoupling from the American-dominated world order. So now this might no longer be a significant consideration. Notably, the Chinese recently sent a business delegation to Crimea after Ukraine – a paragon of rule of law – confiscated shares in Motor Sich, an aerospace engine manufacturer, from Chinese investors, probably under American pressure.

It’s anyone’s guess what will happen now:

  1. Perhaps there’ll be a few more months of posturing and war scares before the excitement dies back down. as Zelensky gets cold feet and calls off the mustering of Ukrainian forces in Donbass.
  2. Perhaps he doesn’t, and Russia lets Operation Storm succeed.
  3. Or it pushes it back from Donbass and leaves everything else unchanged.
  4. Or it launches the Operation Novorossiya that was canceled back in 2014 (assuming it existed back then for real – we don’t know that for sure, of course).
  5. Or perhaps Russia launches it anyway without prior Ukrainian “input”.

The one minimal thing I would note is that so far as Russia is concerned (4) would seem to be much more preferable to (3).

In this scenario, it will be painted as an aggressor (already has been) either way and will have a ton of sanctions piled up on it anyway, which will almost certainly include the cancelation of NS2 and a broad commitment to Ukrainian NATO membership. But in (3), it only gets the half of Donbass that it already de facto controls, while in (4) it gets a corridor to Crimea and Transnistria (including a resolution of the Crimean water problem), half a dozen major industrial cities, and 20M more people.

It's not so much Russiaphobia (personally, I love the Russian people), but dislike of the actions of the current Russian government, both inside and outside of Russia.

America is a polarized country right now. But that's fine, our democratic institutions can flex and bend, but it's hard to tear them, because they have worked for 200+ years.

Keep in mind the scale of the Russia economy relative to that of the US. Texas has a much larger GDP than Russia and about 1/5th of the people. I think it would be better for the Russian people to figure out how to trade with the US than the converse. Putin has his own set of kleptocrats and oligarchs. But they are his oligarchs. The US (targeted) sanctions precisely these people.

Analysis: Beijing huddles with friends, seeks to fracture U.S.-led 'clique'

BEIJING (Reuters) - China is shoring up ties with autocratic partners like Russia and Iran, as well as economically dependent regional countries, while using sanctions and threats to try to fracture the alliances the United States is building against it.

So old slow Joe is showing some balls building a financial/trade team of countries to finally put XI and Putin where they belong? Is our list of weak past presidents gonna be shown how real politics work?
It’s time to cut off their financial nuts from the rest of the world who doesn’t want the Ukrainian or the South China Sea. Isolate, these Authoritative regimes and let them play Alfa dog with each other.

From the spy rumor mill:

The Ukraine situation is entirely a NATO/CIA production. The President of Ukraine and his Soros controlled paid nationalists in parliament are direct placements by the CIA and Obama in their day. The Ukraine military units amassed 100K troops and most of their Mil at the Donbass a month ago, with Russia responding in kind with full mobilization, their entire fleet is at sea, their entire army is placed in front of the Donbass and the Polish border of Belarus within easy reach of Kiev. Ukrainian units are under command of NATO officers. The Ukrainian generals are cut off from their units. It is unclear whether the Ukrainian officers will be able to capture their NATO commanders/handlers that usurped their HQ and reverse the  war plan that promises to annihilate their country and bring most if not all of it into Russian hands. .

CIA shipped 7 nukes to Ukraine and sent 3 into the Donbass and 4 were attempted to infiltrate the Russian border. 4 more nukes are headed to Washington, NYC, London and Moscow. NSA spilled the beans to the FSB and all of them are located and will be captured before the CIA gets to detonate them to create a faux WW III. If you ever wondered where the stray Uranium One material went, it was to create these nukes, apparently within Europe. NSA is hoping to get the bombs into both "Langley West and East", which I hope is a joke. But the war of DIA and NSA against CIA and FBI and DHS continues and they view each other as traitors.

Because of the capture of the nukes, the fake WW III scenario is once again out of reach for Biden's handlers, so they are once again diverted from plan A back to olan B, the plandemic. So 'new strains" of Coronavirus are back to the headlines. The "vaccines" are claimed to be ineffective and the J&J vaccine is taken off the market. Deranged Democrat Governors are locking down again and the Federales are trying to harass the open Red states that are both open and maskless and showing declining infections vs. the locked and masked Dem states where cases are "rising" again. I thin it is time to put the public health establishment in jail and eliminate their government functions. Defund the schools of public health and jail Fauxi and Redfield and delete the FDA. Charges of crimes against humanity are in the works.

There is the potential for world chaos from many countries but besides that there is just US military dominance.

I didn't say that, but it is not out of the realm of what Obama plans look like, just that it would not have been military but his Brownshirt college indoctrination products who believe meritocratic accomplishment is "racist" like getting the right answer on a math problem . Obama was trying to tell the military to take an oath to the UN and to him as the UN's governor of the US. They told him he no longer affects military decisions and showed him a dossier of his treason + pedophilia and I presume promised him that he is headed to GITMO before anyone takes an oath to the UN.  As you have seen, Flynn was still there at the end of Obama's term. If he couldn't get rid of Flynn as president, what control did he have over the Pentagon?

The weather manipulation technology is called chemtrails, cloud seeding and HAARP. All are well documented all over the web. The actual condition being fought by cloud seeding and the beneficial use of HAARP was the reduction in Pacific evaporation and cloud travel by the particulate plume blanket coming out of China and weather systems that drain cloud moisture caused by vessels using high sulfur bunker fuel. The TX "dark winter" was a Biden team creation run by CIA that seeded clouds on the North Pacific moisture corridor to bring the jet stream down the prairie into TX. DIA hacked HAARP control computers and special forces captured the chemtrails material and stopped them. NSA captured some of the CIA money that funded it. HAARP equipment is no longer in CIA Ag Dept and NASA control. Think Obama = Biden = Bush = CIA = DNC. And yes, the RINO establishment is run out of the CIA, who also run the  DNC.
