A researcher at a Saudi university has designed an Arabic-speaking robot, and believes the robots could replace faculty members in the future.Machine- learning techniques are applied so robot can learn to perform certain tasks without being explicitly programmed. In terms of his mind, researcher will train on nearly 100,000 conversations to boosts his self - confidence.

Throwback to when Saudi gave Sophia robot more 'rights' than migrant workers, second generation residents, women...Sophia  was given a passport - something many second- and third-generation residents of Saudi Arabia can only dream of..Human rights..

Well, considering the work ethic of Saudi national faculty members, men in particular, it might not be such a bad idea. As for Saudi being a 'start-up nation' that someone voiced above, they are anything but. They are a money nation. They buy things, and that is more or less the grand sum total of their capabilities. There is zero local ingenuity in the KSA, and all of its knowledge economy hinges on expat workers, both western and Asian. And once the oil revenue dries up over the next few decades, they will have nothing, and no one to even maintain what has been already bought during the period of incredible wealth.
