The "climate change" agenda is widely understood as a form of neocolonialism, as in trying to tax the developing nations for developing, outside of the "1st world" (which has largely done developing, with possible exception of US)

Didn't the great Greta herself call it blah-blah which will change nothing, too?

On "4th largest polluter" Russia inherited the CO2 emissions quotas for the entire USSR, which was 2nd behind USA only. So, it arguably de-carbonized like nobody else already due to massive overall de-industrialization.

Also, Russia also is the largest natural mechanism of carbon sequestration, due to having simultaneously the world's largest territory covered by swamps or bog and most forested areas. (much recent research has been sponsored to dispute that)

There is very little Russia can do in a way of small time wind and solar preferred by EU. It really does not work so well in Russian climate. Believed to be of much potential for remote locations off the grid, that's it. Anybody interested in a tidal plant that's single-handedly good for 1/3-1/2 the entirely Japan's energy needs?

No? Thought so. Will use it to flood the market with certifiably blue (or whatever) colored hydrogen if that plan was even remotely serious.

Putin and Xi know it's a waste of time and will be nothing but empty promises.

The fact that John Kerry, Joe Biden, and Boris Johnson think they are going to tell China what to do is pure comedy gold

Even the new British Foreign Minister could not convince Mr. Lawrov. President Putin is not a Fan of those Meeting events. His Adviser Ruslan Edelgireyev will be in Glasgow. His Status is the same as John Kerry for the USA.

Well, to begin with, they have the EU over a barrel! Thanks to Merkel and the brain-dead President of the United States.

Merkel, along with Biden, TRULY FUCKED THE European Union...

Neither Putin or Xi have left their country in quite some time, for Xi it's been years. From what I've read both of them are terrified of getting the virus. Maybe they're both just fake tough guys who are scared of everything.

If you think this judgement is laughable, go look up Joseph Stalin and his level of paranoia. Just another macho man facade, in reality, he was a total coward.

Here's Putin, after forgetting his shirt at the YMCA.

John Kerry is a laughingstock to anyone who knows his past statements and how they never materialized and were based on misinformation. 🤣

They are the main beneficiaries of fossil fuels and must be laughing their asses off at the West and its Green Nightmare. (patent pending term)

I predict the USA will have a billion people in a hundred years approximately. Not a pleasant prospect to many, I am sure. Properly done it could work well. We have lots of room.

Russia should seriously consider it if and when they think their oil and gas will run out.

Siberian peat and all other frozen peat bogs can release more methane than we can imagine. It is a major fear of the Climate Change movement. Few see the up side which is a warmer Siberia, Canada, etc. There is more fear over D.C. and other coastal cities being gradually submerged around the world. At this point it doesn't seem like slowing fossil fuels is a good idea until Wind, Solar, and other Green options are farther advanced and in place!

Meanwhile in the real world US population will peak in a decade.

100 years was my time period. We may live to see whether or not the U.S. population will continue to grow as it always has. Our migration is a large factor and our migrants like to reproduce more than our current citizens.

We more than tripled in the last 100 years. We have lots of people that want to come to America. Just as Australia and New Zealand do.

Putin went to Geneva in June to meet Biden

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_international_presidential_trips_made_by_Vladimir_Putin

Xi was last out Jan 2020, to Myanmar

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_international_trips_made_by_Xi_Jinping#2020

Stalin simply tried to avoid flying as much as possible, similar to Kim today.

Very interesting! Stalin certainly had great reason to fear assassination. He was hated almost as much as loved. My step father was a communist and a great fan of his. He used to tell me "How many divisions has the Pope". Something like that.

Thats over 600 days for Xi, coming up on years in a few months. Didn't know Putin left his hidy-hole, it's about time.

Joe Stalin slept in different rooms every night near the end of this life, because he was afraid. Both Kim and Stalin avoid(ed) flying because they're both cowards. All autocrats end up the same, afraid of their own shadows.

Those Wiki information does not include Trips inside the Country. For Putin about 10 Trips. That data are from The Kremlin Homepage which is far more accurate as some Wiki info.

Of course, we see his many manly pictures used as propaganda for those who would be impressed. He is former KGB so we would expect his training was good. Merkel was, of course, impressed. She had similar brainwashing.

George Bush Senior was the Head of the CIA. Such things happen because they are qualified.

When Mr. Putin flies to Sotchi and interact 5 hours with the new Israeli Prime Minister you can't that call Propaganda.

Qualified but not necessarily honest. George Bush Senior is known for lying to the voters when he said "No more new taxes!" He was not reelected. It took years for me to understand all the misinformation that George W. Bush told the American people. Promising to control immigration and build a wall and then not doing either one . The reasoning behind the wars in the Middle East and how the extravagant amount of money was spent. I think his father guided a lot of this through and he was not strong enough to do his own job correctly.

I would be shocked if any leader of a country would not travel throughout his own country with adequate protection.

Actually, Wiki's not up to date. Looks like Xi just visited an SCO summit in Tajikistan

UPD: never mind, was via video
