Biden threatens Putin " If . . . . no longer a Nord Stream 2 . . bring end to it"

And there in lies the danger NotSoSmart. Above all things Putin has pride, arrogance and power. If indeed Ukraine was able to cripple Russian armor that embarrassment would drive a air power strike of untold carnage.

Events of this nature also known as the fog of war happen with startling speed. Technology has increased at a rate that surpasses man's comprehension.

If you are nieve enough to underestimate Putin's pride/arrogance and ambition...You only need to comprehend how much energy wealth he has accumulated in the past 10 yrs.

The European energy market is his oyster...and a fundamental foundation to the reformation of the USSR. It is at his fingertips.

Now back to soft power, computer hacks and social justice. Things you can comprehend.

The Russian have rockets which fires up to 45 km. Not single shots series of 16. Javelins are completely overestimated. Ukraine is not Afghanistan. Its flat and those Javelin fly about 4.5 km.

And you don‘t hit any Jets.

There's definitely better anti-tank weapons than the Javelin, but it's practically ideal for a force that is short on organization, and heavy equipment that is going to be fighting as an insurgency, for the following reasons:

  • .  They are small enough to be reasonably carried by one person (although heavy), and because they are short, they can be hidden a lot of places a larger launcher can't
  • They use a 'soft launch' 2 stage propellant that has no backblast area - that means they can be used from inside of small hidden space,or while lying down.
  • After launch they are self guiding (heat seeking) so the person who shot it can immediately take cover, or start running away
  • They have integrated night vision sights so you can attack in the dark
  • It utilizes a 'popup' attack where the penetration and detonation comes from above.  This means not only that it can attack a lot of different types of vehicles, but it's also really effective at blowing up buildings, since they tend to respond very poorly from explosions that come from the top, but underneath the roof. It can also do direct fire if that is desired.

All in all,  if you have a poorly armed, poorly organized resistance, they are pretty much perfect if you have a little time ahead of time to train people how to use them.  You can hide in the woods somewhere, wait til after dark, aim, shoot and run,  with a reasonable expectation that whatever they pointed at will have a bad day, and a fairly low risk of getting caught if used correctly.

The idea isn't that this will be some wonder weapon that will stop a Russian invasion in it's tracks - it's that it will enable an effective resistance that makes any invasion and occupation very expensive in lives and equipment.

Well if we talk about sanctions

Overall, Western sanctions “meant Russia’s annual growth from 2014 to 2018 fell short of prior expectations by 0.2 percent,” according to a 2019 IMF report cited by the Financial Times. This means “they had a much smaller impact than, for instance, the decline in the oil price during the same period.”

The sad part would be he is no longer cognitive of his own words. Sanders&Co are using Biden as a mouth piece and bludgeoning board for there agendas.

Take very close notice as to how they operate, young children or the elderly. Watching Pelosi speak runs in the same vein as Biden. Just a small amount of pushback and it's senile anger/frustration.

Below what do you see? A enthusiastic engaged politician?

How does that come here? It is Russian gas and Ukraine has no contribution towards it. If you are asking if I don't care for people who expect freebies from others, why would I? It makes no commercial sense for Russia to pass the gas via Ukraine at a hefty commission if it can get it done by Nord Stream for free. If it is about charity, then there are more countries like Somalia, Mozambique, Congo etc who need freebies more.

The  drones are already in Poland.   433rd Airlift Wing sent them out last week.

The way you boast you don't know any more about care and feeding an army than Nicholas  II.  If Put-Put is dumb enough to use nukes then will be no Russia.  Having Belorussia for an ally is like Germany having Italy as as an ally.  Remember what happened to the Italian 8thb Army when they had the 6th Army's flank at Stalingrad.

Ask the Russians about casualties to the German Volksgrenadiers with Panzer fausts.   Tanks have very poor vision unless the commander has his his hatch open and his head out.    Then he is an easy target for Barret sniper rifles at 2.5 km.

How about the rest off Russia's border that is unprotected while Put+Put does this stupid stuff?

Take a look at what serious sanctions did to Southern Rhodesia and then  South Africa before you display your ignorance.  That was a whole level above what Iran and Iraq had to deal with.   Russia under the same level of sanctions as South Africa was under will become Xi's lapdog.   Better start practicing your Chinese.

You missed one.  Javelins play hell with fuel trucks.  And the tanks Russia does deploy are no better than what they had in Afghanistan.  Inteeeersting quote on the T-14 "

On 10 August, 2021, Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko said that the Russian Armed Forces would receive 20 T-14 Armata tanks by the end of 2021.[39] On August 23, a Rostec official said that the company had shipped an experimental batch of T-14 tanks to Russian Armed Forces.[40]"

Oh boy, going to war in an experimenttal tank. What could go wrong?  sort of like one operational Su-57. Wonder what the training level of the infantry is like. We know flight times for pilots are inadequate.  French army  1940?   How much of their ammo reserves did they shoot up with their maneuvers with the Belorussians?

Russia has deployed SU-25s to Belarus and bases in western Russia.

So you are saying United States Drones, A-10 Aircraft , the Reagan , the Harry Truman etc , etc. are going to attack Russian troops and infrastructure.

I thought the Russians were going after Ukraine Eastern obasts not the New Jersey shore.  You must work in the Biden Administration.

It looks like "Brandon" really does want to start WW III.   A good diversion away from Hunter's Burisma deals. $1 million/year which was ended right after Joe left office.

Maybe I missed it ? Did NATO admit Ukraine as it's newest NATO member today ?

How many hours a month do the Ukraine pilots average ?

You do realize Ukraine's oblasts in the eastern 1/3 of Ukraine are all a majority pro Russia.  A few are over 75% pro Russia. It helps. A lot.  It won't stop the stingers but will diminish them.

The war takes place in the east .  The Pentagon has already said that Ukraine was going to use an insurgency war plan in the east.  Those stingers will do some damage but that's not going to stop the Russians who have the help of local Separatist.

Going to be tuff fighting a Three Front war.

Ukraine is going after Russian railroads ?  No.  Are you nuts ?  Ukraine is going to go after Russian power grid ?   You really are nuts. If they start bombing in the Russian Mother land the gloves will come off and Ukraine will cease to exist.

If U.S. goes after Russian infrastructure that is an Act of War by U.S. against Russia.  Look out. WW lll .

U.S. likely will use it's technology to jam Russian operations but only inside Ukraine.

Believe it not but in my opinion the major NATO members could care less about Ukraine losing a few oblasts of farmland.  "A minor incursion is acceptable". Just ask Brandon .

I have no interest in the outcome of this skirmish.

The stingers will slow the Russian forces but will not stop them.  This won't take long.

Just interested in how it affects the price of oil, natural gas, wheat.

Amurcuns are cowards. Like dogs barking behind a fence.

bark, bark, Russian aggression. bark bark, Russian invasion imminent. bark, bark, NATO is ready to fight.  bark, bark, Bidet barks he will stop NS2. bark, bark, from behind the NATO fence.

well, if Amurcuns want to stop Russian aggression, why don't you stop barking and get on with the job?  Russia is not Iraq, not Libya, not Yugoslavia, not Vietnam, not Korea. so let's see the great Amurcun war machine in action, against a real capable enemy.  for once.

I shall be interested to see how drugged-up dumbed-down amurcuns will react when LA and NYC are vapourised.

'for once' will be 'just once'.

Great plan if you want to start World War III and cut off oil and gas flow from Russia to Europe creating Super Economic Depression that is worse than anything Europe has ever seen.

Sounds like a plan.  Let's go for it.

Ukraine is a corrupt nation that has paid BIDEN family millions and squashed an investigation into Hunter.

Europe could care less if Putin takes the pro Russian oblasts in the eastern Ukraine. If Europe doesn't care why should I.S. ?

This is not 1980. Your Democrat Party is living in the past.  There is an economic war going on and the U.S. is losing.  Big time.  I have to hand it to you the U.S. is the most "Woke" country with a very "woke" military.  LOL.

Biden administration didn't care either until that knucklehead said on National TV that " .  .  .  a minor incursion was acceptable, then we decide what to do"

Why is your U.S wasting  time on Ukraine.  Ukraine is a corrupt  country that is one step up from a third world country.

Is it a diversion from this current administration first year Presidency.

Reminds me of Clinton in 1998 when he blew up a baby formula and malaria drug factory with 14 Minuteman missiles (did he really need 14) to distract from his troubles.  Now Biden positions nuclear capable bombers in Britain. Really ?  The guy is nuts.

NATO gets involved. Stupid .
