With roughly half of the vote counted, Orban’s Fidesz party led United for Hungary, a six-member opposition alliance, 57% to 32% in the party list contest, according to the National Election Office, with 63% of the votes counted. That would be sufficient for Fidesz to keep its two-thirds parliamentary majority.

Despite opinion polls forecasting a tighter race, Orban's Fidesz party won comfortably across much of the country. Opposition leader Peter Marki-Zay even failed to win in his own district, where he had served as mayor. The far-right extremist Mi Hazank party won 6.3%, and was set to enter parliament, further diluting the power of the anti-Orban alliance.

"We have such a victory it can be seen from the moon, but it's sure that it can be seen from Brussels," Orban said in his speech on Sunday night, making light of his government's long-running tensions with EU leaders.

The electoral System is in place unchanged since 2011. In 2010 the Old System with about 380 Seats was in place  after that Seats and Region where reduced. This favours large and organised Parties. There is nothing special which favours Orban. 

The fact that Hungary is a one chamber Parlament and not a two chamber as US, Switzerland, Germany as example. The primary vote is for people and only in the second priority for Parties.

Today is important that Ukraine lost the Port of Mariupol. That means no more access to the Sea of Azov. And that closes a big legal issue as the Sea of Azov was excluded by International law. After today the Sea of Azov will be national territorial waters for Russia alone.

Fighting especially at the Azov Steelworks will go one far a while but Ukraine lost that City for sure.

Russia’s Admiral Makarov warship has been hit by Ukrainian missiles and burst into flames, according to Ukrainian officials.

The frigate would be Russia’s latest naval loss in a troubled campaign, coming after reports that US intelligence helped Ukraine locate and sink the Russian warship Moskva weeks ago.

It was said to have been sailing close to Snake Island in the Black Sea south of Odesa.

Earlier, Amnesty International said on Friday there was compelling evidence that Russian troops had committed war crimes, including extrajudicial executions of civilians, when they occupied an area outside Ukraine's capital in February and March.

Civilians also suffered abuses such as "reckless shootings and torture" at the hands of Russian forces during their failed onslaught on Kyiv in the early stages of the invasion launched by the Kremlin on 24 February, the rights group claimed in a report.

Amnesty’s senior crisis response adviser Donatella Rovera told a news conference in Kyiv “these are not isolated incidents”.

Turkish authorities have released footage that reportedly shows the Admiral Makarov frigate on fire after being hit by Ukrainian missiles.

The Admiral Makarov is one of Russia’s newest and most advanced frigates, and its possible destruction is another major setback for Moscow’s war effort.

The 4,000-ton vessel is one of the biggest warships in Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, which plays a key role in Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine

We are the least enslaved nation that I know of but we are in danger of all that you say. It is a danger for the whole world. Russia is enslaved, Ukraine is free as is Europe. The same US Senate approved the allocation of $40 billion for weapons for Ukraine.

It was a fair vote, and I would have voted the same. Business is business and should never have been restrained by the government. They should have fought for their rights and found ways around the oppressive government.
