Corruption On The Top: Netanyahu's Wife Charged With Misuse of Public Funds for Meals

Recommended Posts

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s wife has been charged with allegedly misusing public funds to order meals from outside the prime minister’s residence. Sara Netanyahu has been charged with using nearly $100,000 of state money to cover the unauthorized expenses between September 2010 and March 2013. She has denied any wrongdoing, and the prime minister has said the family is the victim of a political witch hunt by leftists and the media. Benjamin Netanyahu is also facing potential charges as the attorney general weighs whether to accept police recommendations to indict him in two corruption cases. The Israeli leader is being investigated in connection with expensive gifts he and his wife received from businessmen including Hollywood producer Arnon Milchan, and on suspicions he spoke with a newspaper publisher about passing legislation in exchange for favorable coverage, a plan that never came to fruition. Morality and politics ....

With $ 100,000 you can also distribute two 340-gram cans of meat to 30'000 impoverished refugees in a Gaza Strip UNRWA refugee camp.

You can't use government funds for personal things...pretty standard in any country. And, of course you have to give some answers for illegal activity...

Tell it to Idi Amin.  Tell it to Robert Mugabe. Tell it to Viktor Yanukovych.

Looting the till is a  universal phenomenon. The world is filled with svin'i.

Meanwhile the explicit Netanyahu policy of murdering Gaza civilians, by artillery, aircraft strikes, and army snipers picking off demonstrators marching with signs inside Gaza at 1,000 feet from the Border, goes unremarked on by the Israeli press.  And you wonder why there are so many tensions and problems in that part of the world. Mr. Netanyahu is a one-man disaster.
