Researchers and public health groups are suing the Trump administration to stop the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) policy blocking grant recipients from serving on advisory committees.

How is it possible that scientists will have a conflict of interest while serving on a regulatory board about oil drilling. If so, shouldn't conflict of interest be applied in all institutions and industries

There are policies in place to avoid anyone weighing in on grants on which there is a conflict of interest.

Pruitt has to realize that having only corporate scientists on your advisory boards does not look good. At some point will backfire
