that is fine. Neither city will win this. But this is only preparation for Congress and the executive branch to tackle the issue of climate change.

Going back to this topic, sue oil companies cause global warming isn't like doing a lawsuit against Apple and Ford because someone crashed while driving?

For a start, the idea of that Global Warming has been contributed to significantly by Emissions in the 100 years or so.

For every 'Expert' that contends that 'Greenhouse Gasses' are almost totally to blame, there is one that will adopt a more balanced view that this is a natural phenomenon and that since the last Ice age many factors including sun spot activity etc etc, have been the main issues dictating the current temperature change state.

Also, the distinct lack of Oxygen producing trees is a known entity, the affect of which can be calculated on an ongoing basis, so better sue those that have cut down all the trees. Furthermore those that have consumed wood pulp for paper, building materials, fence posts etc etc, and that drive to the building depot to collect them in their diesel consuming vehicles are to blame on so many fronts that a lawsuit is imminent Surely.

Given the fact that those likely bringing these lawsuits will not want to hold themselves accountable,  they will be no doubt cycling to the courthouse, eating food that is totally organic and living their everyday lives powered by renewable energy only!

Seriously, I have a bridge to sell ( Great views ) currently called the Tower Bridge in London, but feel free to rename it once you have paid in Bitcoins - contact for more info

Here's one good story on the topic. Except the assertion that the oil industry made life on Earth harder. That's charming.
