UK and Canada have come together to launch an international partnership hoping to accelerate the process of ending reliance on coal power. Following the UK and Canada’s lead, more than twenty partners have already signed up to be a part of the Powering Past Coal Alliance.

Well, let's look at some figures. Canada is a net exporter of coal and the UK earlier this year achieved its first coal-free day. Its coal statistics end in September 2016. Well done.

 

I think the aim of the partnership, @LAOIL is to talk a lot about how bad coal is thus motivating other countries around the world to switch to renewables. Which they are already doing. Because there's indisputable evidence that coal is bad. So what else is new?
