Damn,  many of those links are written by complete imbeciles on WHODUNNIT!

Not one of them actually mention either the #1 or #2 most likely suspect: Germany

Germany has a political leadership fractured facing steep political headwinds where they have their feet in both camps.  The easiest way to MOVE to one side of the issue would be to blow up the pipeline eliminating the other position as a viable alternative.  Russia had already cut off the gas going on a month, so what is the point?  Eliminate the ability for Russia to apply pressure and twist arms behind people's backs  and more importantly eliminate everyone in the EU pointing fingers at Germany as cowardly not doing their part because they want to make money/products to sell to the nations who are hurting from banning oil/ng from Russia... and bring up past WWII war guilt(Cough Cough Poland demanding reparations for the last week commemorating Germany/Russia attacking them especially when the Baltic pipe was opened!!!)......   My bet is still on Poland doing it, but damn, Germany has VERY compelling reasons of their own to do so.

I am sorry, but it has to be either Germany or Poland who did it.  Russia or USA?  No. Neither gain anything by doing it other than looking corrupt and dumb. If it was Ukraine...... hrmm hurting their gravy train? Not a chance.  Without the west they have to surrender immediately. They have no diesel, no ammo, no food(other than bulk grain), no gear to outfit their troops, and they certainly get no more guided munitions.  Not to mention Ukraine does not even have ammo to operate the artillery they do have.

Apparently you never paid attention: Words are not actions.

Trump talks... He talks a lot, but doesn't DO that what he talks about.  What he does DO, is NOT what he talks about other than very quietly.

As for the PM... my money is still on Poland doing it.  Their  media is blaming Russia non stop not even bringing up Germany, USA for reasons to do so.  I suppose it could have been  Sweden trying to strengthen NATO which  they are joining as they see the largest EU country waffling around

Let me be honest. You can always find yourself exceptional nation with right to humiliate and economic ruin your main partner on Europe.

Here are results

Minus 8 gdp Germany in 2023

Minus 0.9 in Russia both according to Reuters

German should put sanction on USA trending on Twitter.

Most prorussian party in Germany AFD in goverment after next elections

If USA did IT even to its main Ally in Europe IT means real Brain death of NATo

USA gains next to nothing that I can see by doing so.

Just what exactly does the USA gain?  Russia had already cut off the gas and the EU had already sanctioned everything and cut nearly everything off by themselves.  No arm twisting required for nefarious reasons.

What does the USA stand to gain?  A lot.  This has been leaked by a respectable Swedish newspaper:

You disavowed what Trump said.  Fair enough, he is a habitual liar.  What about Biden? He said that the US will take out Nord Stream.

If you actually watched the video, you will see how Biden and the U.S. top UN official (Nuland...who also has strong dubious ties to overthrowing Ukraine's democracy circa 2014)...you will see how they actually state that they could definitely do it and have it in their design of a potential planned operation.  (Prior to this NWNW episode, I already knew about Nuland and Biden, because I follow alternative media.)

At this moment in time and in the near-term future, the U.S. Natural Gas supply will be the primary supplier for Europe.  Exit Russia permanently and enter the U.S.  Of course this fact strengthens the dominance of the Dollar.  The USA has everything to gain.  In fact, the U.S. will also benefit from a weaker Europe in the long-term by further being able to manipulate Europe's policies...the whole Ukraine-Russia past decade of events were designed by the U.S. to embroil and suppress Europe, and thus making them dependent upon the U.S.

Spot-on Hotone!  America has a sordid history.  But most westerners have been brainwashed and they know little of real U.S. history.

So most Americans are German, English, Irish….European. The types funding weapons against the Russians from around the world. Sordid indeed. Like you most Americans and Europeans are non educated non googling, no chart reading fools led by a nasty corrupt class of politicians. The world is not yet woke but tech will excite the masses and show the possibilities.

Doesn't matter who killed the 4 pipelines. Everybody is happy it happened. Now go get the rest of the exporting pipelines. Moscow should enjoy the winter like the Ukrainians. 300,000 new Russian soldiers, 100,000 N Korean soldiers. Where are they at? I don’t see them on the news. Are they training? With new equipment? Or is this WWII all over again. The US manufacturing sector simply supplying better and more arms at a steady rate. Do Russians understand more tech advanced weapons supplied at a superior rate?

Uh, no.  Norway is.  Even if USA had another 1000 modern LNG tankers it could not become EU's #1 importer.  In case you were wondering, there are not that many LNG tankers in the world currently.  And no, the Ukr-Rus  was not designed to embroil and suppress Europe.  Russia/EU did that all by themselves with no help from Uncle Sam.  Shutting down your nuclear and coal is pure brilliance.  No US solder held Putin at gunpoint ordering him to invade not even Hunter Biden in a cocaine hallucination can come up with this shit.

Yea, USA "supports" nations going certain directions to go another... In this case away from Russian sphere of influence and towards the EU/USA.  So?   No one forced the Ukranians to do so other than the Ukranians who wished to NOT be under the bootheel of Russia.

Uh... who doesn't know about Nuland and Biden?  Are you in a secret club no one else knows about?

If China Neighbors are so important why does China want to steal their fish, oil and nat gas in the South China Sea? The entire region is pissed and comes to the US for protection. 15 years ago they were more pro trade. Now they make a few bucks and think expansion. The US is not into anybody expanding. That’s a WWII rule.

Watch: Bloomberg Hosts Scramble As Top UN Adviser Shreds Ukraine Narrative In Live Interview

Tyler Durden's Photo
by Tyler Durden
Tuesday, Oct 04, 2022 - 12:22 PM

A Monday Bloomberg TV segment on the Ukraine war with an expert who has in the recent past advised three UN Secretaries-General didn't go the way the Bloomberg hosts thought it would. Jeffrey Sachs, who is the Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, posited the United Stats was likely behind the sabotage attacks on the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines when asked about it.

The top UN adviser said during the live interview, "The main fact is that the European economy is getting hammered by this, by the sudden cut-off of energy. And now to make it definitive - the destruction of the Nord Stream pipeline, which I would bet was a US action, perhaps US and Poland." Sachs added: "That is speculation" - before being cut-off mid sentence by show host Tom Keene, who looked a bit flabbergasted and frustrated over the perhaps unexpected turn in the interview...

"Uh, Jeff, we've got to stop there," Keene strongly interjected, leaving Sachs perplexed over why he couldn't continue the thought. The show host then questioned, "Why do you feel that was a US action? What evidence do you have of that?"

Sachs responded “Well, first, there is direct radar evidence that US military helicopters that are normally based in Gdansk were circling over this area," noting additionally that "We also had the threat from the US earlier this year that 'one way or another we are going to end Nord Stream'."

The Columbia professor then recalled from just days ago, "We also had a remarkable statement from Secretary Blinken last Friday in a press conference where he said 'this is also a tremendous opportunity'," which Sachs pointed out is "a strange way to talk if you're worried about piracy on international infrastructure of vital significance."

Needless to say this is not an aspect to the "debate" surrounding the mysterious sabotage of Nord Stream that's at all up to this point been featured on Bloomberg, CNN, MSNBC or other major news shows. But Sachs emphasized in defending his inquiry and suspicions over US involvement that many officials and pundits privately point the finger at Washington, but don't express it publicly:

I know this runs counter to our narrative - you aren't allowed to say these things in the West, but the fact of the matter is all over the world when I talk to people, they think the US did it

All the while the two show hosts attempted to cut in, before Sachs was finally told that the interview should no longer get into "tit-for-tat" of what "did or did not happen with Nord Stream" because "I don't have the evidence" - as the Bloomberg co-host said to close out the controversial topic of the pipelines.

Elsewhere in the interview Sachs emphasized that "most of the world doesn't see it [the Ukraine conflict] as we describe it" in the Western mainstream media, as they are alarmed at NATO expansion. The Columbia professor also early in the interview said:

"In vote after vote at the United Nations, basically, it has been the Western countries that have been voting for sanctions and denunciations and other actions. Whereas most of the world, certainly most of the world counted by population, is on the sidelines. They view this as a horrible clash between Russia and the US."

Watch the full interview segment below:

Sachs also emphasized in pushing back against the show hosts' seeming surprise at his alternate viewpoints that he's "on the side of peace" and voiced fears of escalation toward nuclear war: "Russia feels that this war is at the core of its security interests," he said. Keene at the end of the segment said the show was immediately getting a "fiery response" from viewers

Interestingly enough, the Sachs interview came the same day as the collective mainstream punditry meltdown and "outrage" over Elon Musk's "Russia-Ukraine Peace" Twitter poll, as we described previously. In follow up to the avalanche of hate mail Musk received, there's this notable exchange..

USA has nothing to gain? nothing could be further from the truth. The USA has EVERYTHING to gain by destroying NS1&2. The entire focus of US now is to cut EU from the Asian continent; physically and economically. To reduce EU to a US-dependent for energy, economics, military.  NS1&2 are the beginning of this separation. More is yet to come.

Apparently you need to read your book again.  Genius: You can't make someone dependent on you when you have nothing to make them depend on you FOR!

No, USA LNG cannot even sniff Russian gas.  And no, USA oil cannot supplant Russian Oil.  USA doesn't even have the oil for itself.

And no, this does not cut off EU from Asia.  It does push them towards the middle east, Western Africa, and Central Asia though

Politics has taken over our energy forum. In order to foment a return to the original intention of this forum, going forward, all threads of a divisive political nature that have nothing to do with energy in any form will be locked and deleted. That includes conspiracy theories of any kind, fun as they may be. Thank you for understanding. I'm sure there are many conspiracy theory forums that would be interested in such comments.

maybe somebody here at OP can explain to me why footeab is permitted to post his drivel?
