That post has more depth that you might realize...by far more than you could ever imagine.

Indeed... I might have missed out something...

It started off as division of sides in debate, bipartisan in politicians, pros and cons of racism and equality.

Then, there is a 90 degree corner turn to hunter biden and siblings taking $200k each of a total 1 million vs hidden track billions of deals when ukraine stirred up the mess...+ His daddy's coming campaign..... $200k might be a sum too small to pay for dinner of one night in an  exquisite place... Might not have left a trail..... What's in the shopping bags 🛍️? 🤔

Immigrant and child labour might be the latest mention...

Regarding child labour, mentioned it somewhere that not all children are born rich or with everything they need. Some need to learn how to help the families since young. By providing the kids a chance to work, learn skill, earn money etc, we might be building good characteristics of these kids besides giving them some money to meet the needs. For examples, taking up responsibility when required, courage to try, knowledge on life and hard earn money. It could be a kind deed of win-win.

Children of many successful pioneers who built their empires barehanded might have taught their kids similar way, the way they grew up during era of multi-lacking. Although not all children have similar capacity to shoulder it.

Therefore, not all child labour are bad. Unless it involves mistreatment to the level of inhumanity where their pet dogs are treated better than human, then, it should be raised as an issue.

Immigration has always been a complex issue. Owing to the disparity in exchange rate, they want to earn the difference by putting in effort, we need labour of lower in costs. Locals who can not get a raise or promoted dislike them for being lower in pay grade. Idling migrants who can not land properly on jobs might become social issues.

We need to take a few steps back again, to review. Or, this will become a vicious cycle that divides the society further.

Haha.  What a waste of time with a garbage bill.

News flash - War is expensive, win or lose.  Honest analysis would probably show the withdrawal saved loads of money. However, that won't happen as nobody really wants to remind the public how much money the military spends.

One missile could buy several homeless people houses. A simple training exercise is thousands of dollars.

Give up on 13 billion dollar air craft carriers and buy missiles instead, you can save a few bucks. In a missile war no army is needed. There is a few bucks more. That 800 billion could be down to 300 billion rather quickly. Musk is good at building missile factories that would be fast and efficient. Get-er-done. Let’s say N Korea shoots a missile. The US responds with 200,000. This would make problem countries think twice.

Border? Problems? The last influx of illegals was the Bush Jr administration. Read some charts you non chart reader. 😎 As mentioned both parties do not follow the rule of law and love the illegal for different reasons. The cheap way to solve the claimed problem would be to jail the employer. We’ll, that’s not going to happen because business wants the cheap help. Corruption is the name of the game and only Trump and a few rednecks claim foul. The rich own the issue.

There is no winning in politics. Only corrupt idiots with agendas to make money. Much like the a hybrid Japanese Feudal System. You got to pay to play. Having said that, in our system the peasants are appeased enough by being able to gripe, not really expecting change. Our constant outrage over everything is great. A constant source of interesting research and new things to be aware of.

Rob,

Good read. As an American, I can tell you that what you pointed out is not just Trump or the media is fond of using  “MAGA” !

Years ago, the Republican base that is more “center-right” had the same group but was then called the Tea Party.

What is lost in the conversation is Democrats were in favor of slavery and Republicans actually freed the slaves, United a country, and unleashed the modernization and industrial revolution.

The political divide in the United States was and is so great we fought a war over it and families were divided and fought against each other and families lost family members because of their beliefs.

More Americans died in our Civil War than were lost in any one of the wars we fought in our future. That one internal war killed more people in the same Republic.

Politics in America is messy however what you see and hear from both sides is the loudest small groups from both sides.

When the majority of Americans wake up and when we have had enough of both sides and this could very well mean, and it saddens me to say that we may very well be headed to another Civil War.

Both sides are just shouting with the Democrats being the rudest, loudest, and most divisive. We currently live in a Country that for the first time in our history has a President that is not fit for office and shadow groups are pulling the strings and running a shadow government with the complicit help of members of the government that took an Oath of office and immediately broke it and continue to break it.

We are probably the most well-armed civilization of any other country. When the silent majority on both sides finally has had enough, it will hit the fan.

Yes, we have a statue that says in anyone is welcome, but that has been corrupted to entering the right way to rushing our borders which is not acceptable to the silent majority.

Look back to when Castro emptied his prisons and mental health facilities and wave after wave ascended onto our shores, a democratin office, Russia taking Crimea, a democrat in office.

This is not to say the Republicans have not had their useless fool G.W. Bush, who destroyed the people or most of behind 911 then decided to nation build but as usual with civilian leaders, the FBAR the end game.

You speak of Brexit, as an outsider looking in, I am of the opinion it's a good thing, The creation of the EU was a failed idea, you relinquished your borders and the more powerful members dictated to the rest.

One example is France, they embraced letting in anybody and everybody, and are now in turmoil because of having to raise the retirement age because of so many free social programs.

Where our founding fathers failed was only by putting Term Limits on our President and should have included both of our Houses in the legislative branch.

It is a disservice that members spend decades in public office and that is why we have such discord today.

Both political parties only agree on ONE issue and that is they are all against term limits.

We are now fighting over our Debt Ceiling when the reality of it is we have no ceiling and will not default because it is the American people who are on the hook for the debt at over $92,000 per person and just under $300,000 per average size family. Any foreign investments are secured.

I laughed at the idea of a basket of a new reserve currency, they will be depending on a communist country that will screw others over themselves. I think personally these few should go for it and reap the whirlwind when it goes bad.

They being the executive branch and both house chambers play this game only to maintain the ability to enrich themselves and the globalist of the few who want to run the world as they see it.

We are fortunate the globalist are now losing and countries such as yours are taking back your own destiny as well as we are.

It would be a great disappointment should Americans square off again with each other but it's unfortunately a possibility.

People can say what they want about former President Trump but with all the bullshit of both houses and the weaponized federal law enforcement agencies along with a media that for decades was a Check and Balance to the games played in Washington DC, President Trump was an individual that raised the tide for all people and not special interest and we were better for it and doing it while under assault for Four Years.

The Media are no longer are a Check and Balance but another weaponized group here in America.

So when the shit gets too deep and hundreds of millions of Americans finally hit the ceiling there will be a recking to the madness of the last decade. And as many people that are the silent majority of people, the are well armed and well supplied.

The Civil War made us into a country, rather than an assemblage of states.

Seems to have worked fairly well.

It might be best described as "a more perfect union".

You mean the power of the very first president who gathered a militia and marched to gather tax from whisky producers to pay France and Spain for debts defeating the British. Google Whisky Rebellion. It was always the oligarchs who had power. It is the worker who pays the tax. In our system losses for being bad at business are used as a tax break. Imagine that.

The states have not given up their rights permanently but have accepted federal grants with all sorts of strings attached. Thus the federal government has its tentacles in just about every aspect of state activities. Educational funding has allowed the federal government an overly large influence as it also has in law enforcement agencies, land use, and regulations of all sorts. It is unlikely that this system will change unless true conservatives take full control of state governments.

So in other words the States have given up their rights and what it would take to get them back is almost impossible because of the Democrats and Republican governors will never agree to get the minimum amount of States together to vote and claw back State Rights.

I will say again, there was a rather profound reason you wrote vouchers and not checks. Look I will keep it short...I see you as a individual that would question a bank stating your out of money..Your reply...I still have checks that cannot be!

Now as to ascension might you speed things up a smidgen.

Actually the big event has begun. Congress introduced a new spending bill, it will not only cap anymore spending it will claw back around 1 trillion dollars earmarked for green energy programs. This will be a real fight of epic proportions

As Donald Trump would say.

Bigly INDEED...

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/whats-republican-mccarthys-debt-limit-spending-cut-package-2023-04-19/

Factbox: What's in Republican McCarthy's debt-limit spending cut package?

REPEAL GREEN TAX INCENTIVES

It would repeal incentives for renewable energy, electric vehicles and other climate-friendly technology that Democrats passed last year as part of the Inflation Reduction Act. It does not target corporate tax increases, drug-pricing restraints or other aspects of that law.

Trump leading Biden by 7 points in hypothetical matchup: survey

Former President Trump leads President Biden by 7 points in a hypothetical 2024 matchup between the two, according to a new survey.

The Washington Post-ABC News poll found that 49 percent of Americans said they would definitely or probably vote for Trump or are leaning toward casting their ballots for him in a hypothetical matchup with Biden in 2024 if Trump and Biden are the Republican and Democratic nominees. About 42 percent said they would definitely or probably vote for Biden or are leaning toward supporting him in 2024.

The latest presidential candidate might no longer be between those duo...

Other options are

a) farmer/trucker - down to earth leader like the first president

b) none ellite, full of life experience from bottom to top, grew outside of frame from regular schools of network, thinking, source of  information and boxed actions ( limited area of workability)

c) Artificial intelligent equipped humanoid... Afterall, the main task of a president is mainly signing of paper approved, right? And golfing, and dinner-ing. And receiving plenty of money.

AI could have an advantage of analysing massive data pool within a given time and providing more accurate guidance than modern human on decision making, etc. They can be programmed to cook, to entertain, to clean, shall required, yet they do not need to eat, drink, defecate or get paid, to cut admin costs... Or such.. 😯💩

I don't know where you are getting the 7-10% numbers--the article you provided the link to said the panel pegged it at 3.9%.

I have no idea what you are talking about in terms of malcontents being close to implosion and questioning whether Biden will last another 30 days.

There was a discussion topic on " madness and great leadership" ... By username information01.... He says madness seems to encourage creativity, innovation and such. Would like to quote a cult reply for reference:

"You might need to provide more specific examples...

Do you mean Panthenon in movie kingdom of heaven? Hitler? Mentally ill directors of companies? Or yourself?

Even if you prove again and again madnesss in the old days led to creativity, innovation, responsible, take risk etc, it might not work in modern world.

Generations after the pioneers, especially people from developing world, are taught to just copy the deemed successful models. Creativity, innovative, responsible etc might no longer essential virtue. Madness, hence, might have no outlet for new things.

Following order, slandering to distract/ discredit due to own inadequacy, blaming others avoiding taking responsibility, fake interaction etc become norm...

Therefore, modern madness leads only to destruction of the existing ( establisments) and oneselves, under those conditions.

Or, no?

The Biden madness happens while he is sleeping or unable to function. Sweden and Finland going NATO. Turkey may go EU? Biden can sleep and win Europe. Or to be more accurate let Trump and Putin/ Erdogan self implode. so far America is still welding the winning power plays. Propaganda doesn't change the facts on the ground.
