Haha.  What a waste of time with a garbage bill.

News flash - War is expensive, win or lose.  Honest analysis would probably show the withdrawal saved loads of money. However, that won't happen as nobody really wants to remind the public how much money the military spends.

One missile could buy several homeless people houses. A simple training exercise is thousands of dollars.

"Deplorable" are melting down and crying "done with Fox" because Tucker Carlson got fired.

Meanwhile, no one on the left gives a shit about Don Lemon, because we're not members of some cult!

I am really enjoying this tasty popcorn!

Hmmm perhaps a miscalculation...oh yes you don't identify as a cult. So silly of me. And one senator my god where have I been.

WashingtonCNN —

White House Domestic Policy Adviser Susan Rice will leave her administration post next month, an official tells CNN, marking one of the Biden administration’s highest-profile departures as the president’s domestic agenda stalls in a divided Congress.

Rice’s final day will be May 26, the official said. NBC News first reported her upcoming departure.

Nope the hits just keep rolling...

Democrat Stacey Plaskett threatens ‘Twitter Files’ journalist Matt Taibbi with prison

Democratic delegate to Congress appears to have threatened “Twitter Files” journalist Matt Taibbi with up to five years in prison for purportedly lying under oath when he testified before Congress last month.

Stacey Plaskett (D-USVI) made the threat in an April 13 letter to Taibbi, accusing the Racket News journalist of contradicting his congressional testimony about Twitter in a subsequent interview with MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan, according to a copy of the letter obtained by independent reporter Lee Fang.

The various back and forth between republicans and democrats on this thread is sort of making my point regarding the title of it.

I think people in most countries just despise their politicians for the self serving individuals that they are (yes I'm being polite). However in the US the people appear genuinely divided, this is a key difference to most countries and why I started this thread to see if that is reversible or whether there is some middle ground both camps can migrate to.

It seems to me there is no middle ground or if there is there is no will not only of the 2 parties but also that of the people to even attempt to try. I dont think being that polarized is a healthy political position for the US to be in, just my opinion though.

The US will be fine, a note here however. You have a impression it's a large divide as a lot of US citizens do also. It is not at all large, very small highly centralized group of highly disturbed individuals.

Portland is a very good example of there future, it is melting before there eyes. If it was not so sad it would be halirous. In short this socialist cabal has run out of money..And now people..support.

As we type here there are large shifts occurring across the US, the next 45 days should be very amusing. Biden is announcing his candidacy intentions today...that will trigger quite a bit of discord either way..great stuff frankly. It illuminates the core issues and players. Just as this experiences...smal but very vocal mobs..

Not at all, let us not forget a site administrator left this site due to Chinese influence.

There are many sites across the US, I know of one that has 24 hour hate spewed over and over and over. That cannot be healthy for the human mind...Frankly they were disturbed going in...sad state of affairs.

Easy to clean up however yet there will be a few who make life difficult..as there always is. To think racism could have such a profound effect is amazing. I've seen this come and go 3 times in my life. I hope this would be the last.

If you didn't have racism, what would the media have to do then?  Morgan Freeman brought up this very point  in a recent interview
