Japan committed $92 billion into coal and nuclear development

A report released on Monday has found that between January 2013 and July 2018, Japanese financial institutions have poured US$92 billion into coal and nuclear development—a sum bigger than the gross domestic product of Sri Lanka.  

Now I knew that Japan was one of the only countries that is actually actively increasing coal power generation capacity, but I didn't know they committed this much money...

And $100 Billion into solar in India. Hmm
