Tesla's Finance Team Is Losing Another Top Executive

Recommended Posts

Tesla Executive departures list continues to grow. This company has lost another top executive from its finance department. Tesla's vice president of world-wide finance and operation, Justin McAnear, is leaving the company.  The departure follows the exit last week of Chief Accounting Officer Dave Morton, who had been in the position less than a month after replacing an executive who left that post earlier in the year. Tesla has also lost its corporate treasurer this year.

Hmmm...the employees with the most visibility into the company's financial position. Nothing to see here..

Yes. Most finance folks, the ones who see the numbers,  would leave right before the seminal quarter that buries the shorts and makes their options worth a ton more. Being numerate has its advantages.

Interesting that the people closest to the books don't seem to stick around that long. It’s almost as if the company is on the verge of bankruptcy or something.

The key executives leaving in such a critical time is never good for a company!  It could be interpreted as an indication of uncertainty. But although many won't agree with me, I still believe they will survive.

This might be great time for board of directors to meet while the company is still viable.

Tesla  is very similar to Bitcoin. People yelling about FUD, FOMO feedback loops and price that doesn't seem to correspond to anything.

Only Bitcoin actually has some functional value.
