Why Oil is Falling (including conspiracy theories and other fun stuff)

Your logic is flawless, DA.  Guess I need to rethink this science stuff.  This is where AI could be helpful, in pointing out my logic algorithm hiccups.

Oil weighs more than paper money, so oil tends to fall faster than paper money does.  Just like a cannonball vs. a feather.  Simple, really

Science can be hard, even the basic Newtonian science. AI has it's uses, just like annoying "left" environmentalist types.

The Chicago Mercantile exchange states that it trades 1.2 million options and contracts daily. That represents 1.2 billion paper barrels per day versus 95 million liquid barrels. As long as there is no shortage of liquid barrels I'd check with Goldman Sachs until OPEC shuts in enough to create an actual shortage of supply.

The answer is simple...US sell their oil reserves on higher barell price, and when reserves are "SOLD" they go down with price as much as they can to buy (Iranian,Saudian,Russian,Angola's,Nigeria's etc) oil on lower rates...US restrictions to China,Iran,Saudi Arabia is worldwide fraud...

Fraud? It's smart business but selling from SPR to do this probably won't happen. It's done with stocks all the time.

So who is trying to keep oil above $50 a barrel?

  • I like OIL.
  • EVs are not ready for primetime.
  • I've gotten 3 estimates for Solar to put on my house 45k, 50k and 60k, it's not happening.
  • Skip Saudia Arabian oil, we've got plenty.
  • I drive a 60k SUV (GX470) that gets 14.5 MPG.
  • I'm from Texas!
  • Most interested in the Permian Basin.

Do you think AI would be able to discover any logical discrepancies in the science reasoning of the weight theory in the earlier comment (appended below)?  Because the train of reasoning sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

V: So, why do witches burn?
(long pause)
P2: Cuz they're made of... wood?
V: Gooood.
(crowd congratulates P2)
V: So, how do we tell if she is made of wood?
P1: Build a bridge out of her!
V: Ahh, but can you not also make bridges out of stone?
P1: Oh yeah...
V: Does wood sink in water?
P1: No
P3: No. It floats!
P1: Let's throw her into the bog! (yeah yeah ya!)
V: What also floats in water?
P1: Bread
P3: Apples
P2: Very small rocks
(V looks annoyed)
P1: Cider
P3: Grape gravy
P1: Cherries
P3: Mud
King: A Duck!
(all look and stare at king)
V: Exactly! So, logically...
P1(thinking): If she weighs the same as a duck... she's made of wood!
V: And therefore,
(pause & think)
P3: A witch! (P1: a witch)(P2: a witch)(all: a witch!)

It's your interpretation of the physics of objects falling and why one falls faster then another that needs to be looked at.

First point Model 3 has hit the prime time, look at it's sales figure in the USA market compared to similar ICE's.

For such high costs how much power do you require, or were these old quotes? Although over time it should still payback, living in Texas you already use quite a high amount of renewable electricity.

Do you guys know what would be a very interesting topic for doing research? How much money from oil tycoons is beig invested in RD (research and development) for EV (batteries, solar panels, and fusion)

option a) the really big fortunes sure will try to squeeze the last drop of oil even while the majority of the population will be riding E Vehicles.

option b) They are going to do everything they can to delay the mass production of EV.

They are still obsessed over oil money

let's play this:

Let's imagine we are the most rich people in the world. Each of us have 900 trillion dollars (made from exploiting oil)...let's imagine what we would do in order to remain being the richest after the people stop consuming oil.

what would you do?

Anybody want to take a guess what my hope is for Brent and WTI oil prices in 2019?

Just a wild guess?

Anyone?
