Rodent + 1,424 January 4, 2018 Arizona wildcats football coach fired... just before getting an over $3-million bonus based on some mysterious oil stock bonus. Apparently some anonymous donar gave the athletic department at Arizona a half a million shares of a MLP in some oil pipeline operator. No one knows for sure who the donor was, and no one knows for sure what company the stock is in. The idea was that the school would take the distributions from the MLP to pay out to coaches based on longevity, and they would sell off shares to pay longevity bonuses. The bonuses are millions.
