Chinese Company Says It Will Soon Cross $100 Battery Threshold

Chinese company EnvisionEnergy after buying the Nissan battery division have come out saying that they will be able to make batteries at $100 per kWh by 2020 and dropping down to $50 by 2025. This would massively shrink the EV price gap.
