Libya Shuts In 150,000 bpd of oil as all ports closed

Recommended Posts

Just in today:

"Libya has closed all its oil loading terminals due to bad weather, and soon-to-be-full storage tanks will lead to a shut-in of 150,000 bpd, or half of the oil production at the large Sharara oil field, a source close to the issue told S&P Global Platts on Wednesday."

Evidence of @William Edwards10-gallons-into-a-5-gallon-bucket theory. Can't sell it (for whatever reason)? Storage isn't infinite, so it must be shut down.

I think we should start a thread that contains all of our members' passionate theories. Kind of like a Frequently Asked Questions thread. This example would be a good one, as would @Mike Shellman theory that US shale is a house of cards.

Does anyone have any thoughts on other theories that should be memorialized and easily accessible to our readers?
