Trump charity dissolved

The Trump Foundation has agreed to dissolve under judicial supervision, according to the New York Attorney General. The lawsuit - which also seeks millions in restitution and penalties and a bar on President Trump and his three eldest children from serving on the boards of other New York charities. Lawyers for the Trump Foundation agreed on a court-supervised process for shutting down the charity and distributing about $1.7 million in remaining funds to other nonprofit groups.

It was not a real foundation. Rather a vehicle to commit various tax frauds which are crimes.

Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

I think the New York elite distance themselves from Trump 20 years ago. Not a fan of Trump but I don't give a fig what the elites think of him. That is easy a badge of honor.
