Dissolution of Parliament in Israel, call for elections

Just released, Israel will call for elections and dissolution of the Knesset, and Prime Minister Netanyahu under investigations under charges of corruption, which surely will have a consequence for the israeli foreign policy in the region, certainly now with a renewed rapprochement with monarchies in the Gulf, and right after a recent attack against positions in Syria, heavily criticised by Putin. With Assad now gaining assertiveness in Syria and in the region, with Turkey now becoming a relevant actor in Syria after Trump decision to leave Syria, this political turmoil in Israel will have important consequences for the regional geopolitical dynamics and we will see if some moderate factions come to power in Israel soon and how this will influence as well in the Eastern Mediterranean gas dynamics.
