Rosneft ... keep a close eye on anything related to this Russian oil company. It's a best example about link between state mafia, oligarchs and officially policy.

Exxon, Rosneft to build LNG plant with Japanese, Indian partners

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-russia-exxon-lng-exclusive-idUSKCN1MX1UN

That’s the only thing we didn’t have...You know that Tillerson, when he was at Exxon-Mobil, had a deal with Rosneft worth $500B. The deal stalled when sanctions were imposed. Thus, need to lift sanctions.

According to Steele Dossier, Russia offered commission on the sale of 19% of Rosneft. And guess what Russia did right after the 2016 election? It sold 19.5% of Rosneft’s shares to Qatari Fund/Glencore. Recently, Federal judge rules in favor of Mueller in “secret case” and now an unnamed company owned by “Country A” must answer to a Grand Jury subpoena... I suppose Rosneft is "unnamed" company., and Country A is Russia. or Qatar.

Steele Dossier? Muller? You have lost all your credibility if you think Steele Dossier is legit in any way. Anyone with an average IQ can see it was a fake document full of makeup stories for a political hit job. The majority of those Rosneft shares you referred to was originally owned by Glencore and was supposed to be bought by CEFC of China. The CEO of CEFC went down (under house arrest by Beijing for drawing all the negative attentions and other reasons) after the US corruption case against CEFC's Ho, so the deal was incomplete at payment time. Rosneft sent a team of people to Shanghai to figure out what to do with the shares since CEFC was supposed to pay and complete the deal by the time when Yip was house-arrested. And ur so-called 'secret case' is no secret at all including who finally bought those shares etc etc  I won't want to waste time on since it is easily found out if you simply do some basic research or just ask. Nothing Rosneft did was related to 2016 ELECTION whatsoever, ok?

Dont be afraid. Chinese will finally take your place= maybe not immediately but in medium -term perspective when they buy or steal shale technology for sure.

Its natural consequence of this sanctions if you know something about potential shale oil reserves for example in Bazhenov Formation.

For the time being Russians try to do it by themselves =Something from oilprice from my favourite Victor Katona

This tells me that Russia thinks that $46 per barrel is the norm for the foreseeable future.
