FERC hands nat gas, wind, solar a big win

FERC has rejected Perry's proposal that would have supported coal and nuclear power plants. This is a win for natural gas, wind, and solar.

Nothing deserves to be subsidized. If the demand is there, they will survive in the marketplace

Many innovations need time to get to speed and the market process is too slow. Radar, GPS, the Internet...They were all subsidized by the government

Then Perry and "experts" like him should be stopped from deciding which ones deserve to win. He spent last two years defending himself in a Texas court against felony criminal charges anyway

Apparently in 2011, when Texas was suffering from a drought, Rick Perry held a Prayer Meeting at a Stadium in Texas to pray for rain.
